The Eminence Delta-12LFA Mid-Bass Loudspeaker Driver is part of their American Standard Series and is designed to install into custom made or prefabricated speaker cabinets, that will accomodate a 12" (304.8mm) diameter mid-range driver.

The speaker will deliver up to 1000W of power at 8 ohms and will adequately reproduce vocals, live musical performances, recorded music and other audio signals in mid-level professional sound reinforcement applications. Some of the many applications include sound reinforcement speakers for DJs, musicians, small and mid-sized venues, stage monitors, and much more.

Q: 1. The description says power cord not included. What type of power cord is needed?

A: You have to wire it to the main switch you use to turn your gear on. This way when you turn on whatever master switch you are using to turn everything on the sign lights up. When you finish working and shut down the light will go out. Normally in studios they used to be wired to the tape machine transport so once you pressed play the sign would go on.

Q: 2. What kind of power adapter is required for this item?

A: A 110VAC to 12VDC LED Driver Converter is included and is ready for installation in your studio.

Q: 3. How do you turn it on/off? Looking for something I can put outside my office that I can turn on/off from my desk.

A: This particular light is meant to be wired directly to electric within the room, and which could be controlled via a light switch in the room. An alternative to this would be to purchase the 12v version (BH #SAND34012) with an optional power supply (B&H # SA65356) and turn it on and off via a surge protector.

A: The Eminence LA15850RK 15" 8-Ohm Speaker Recone Kit is just a cone; it does not come with a speaker driver, and therefore does not have any wattage.

Q: 10. the ''recording'' front?,i would like to make a custom plexieglass front.

A: This item was not designed to be modified, and we do not have custom light options available at this time. If you choose to attempt to modify it, please be aware that it will not be returnable.

[13.335 lb] I have a 3-way crossover inside my drum monitor and blew the speakers that were in it so I needed to replace the low end and the mid range speakers and I am very happy I chose this midrange speaker for the replacement. It works and sounds great on stage for my drummer. I have not blown it out as I am pushing 750 watts to it at the peak and it works good. I am very happy with this speaker. 5

[6.06] I purchased these speakers to replace the 12 inch woofers that were in two PA 121 cabinets originally sold by Mackie Industrial. These were manufactured by RCF in Italy and rebranded as Mackie. The original 12s had basically rotted away and were unusable. I emailed Eminence and they confirmed that this would be a good replacement choice. The build quality of these Eminence speakers is very impressive and professional. When it came to testing, I was very pleasantly surprised! Punchy lows, very clean mids. In my system I have the cabinets set up for bi-amping. The crossover point is set at 3000 HZ. I would describe the sound as very musical and accurate. I also own a pair of QSC K 10s. I did an A-B comparison and found that the Mackie speakers with the eminence 12s sounded very similar to the K 10s but a little cleaner and much, much louder. The efficiency and output level is almost unbelievable at this price point. (about 300w available to each 12 inch and about 50w to each horn) The first time I had an opportunity to use these speakers was at an outdoor 5K race as an announce system at the finish line. We were covering an area about the size of two football fields with several thousand people. The sound was great and the customer was very happy. It sounded like a much larger system. One additional benefit, the cabinets are now noticeably lighter than they were before. That's always a plus! I highly recommend the speaker; you will not be disappointed. 5

[13.335 lb] This speaker has lots of punch. I use it with crown amplifiers, and you can really feel it in your chest. You'll need to purchase the box to mount the speaker separately. 5

[6.06] replaced both of the old drivers in my T-Pro powered speakers. They really exceeded my expectations. sound quality is amazing. the clips for the wires is a nice bonus. I was looking for something that would be affordable, and these drivers far exceeded my expectations. Thanks 5
