To accommodate for air-travel regulations on lithium-ion batteries, this battery pack can split in half. Once split, each half will fall below the capacity requirement to pass most air-travel security protocols.

Note: Both halves of each battery are serialized and are not interchangeable with other Buddy System batteries.

Not only will the battery power your camera or light, accessories can be powered simultaneously using the built-in D-tap and USB ports. The D-tap can output 12 volts at up to 10 amps for lens control systems, on-camera lighting, or other accessory. The USB port outputs 5V at 1 amp and can be useful to charge on-set electronics or mobile devices.

Press the check button on the rear and LEDs will illuminate to indicate the current battery capacity.

Intelligent circuitry constantly analyzes battery load and temperature, and will shut down to prevent damage from overloading, overheating, and short-circuiting.

Q: 1. Will this battery work with a RED Raven?

A: You can use this with the RED Raven if you are outfitted with a V battery mount plate.

Q: 2. Can the USB port be used to power an LED light?

Q: 3. Will this battery fit on the SmallRig V-Mount Battery Adapter Plate? #SM3203 or #SM3016 If so, is 148Wh enough to power a Sony A7siii via USB to type-c cable along with powering the Atomos Ninja V with the included battery eliminator using the IndiPRO Tools D-Tap to Locking 2.1mm DC #INDT21RT all at once?

A: Yes, the Watson Pro Cine High-Load V-Mount Battery will fit on the Smallrig V-Mount Battery Adapter Plate because both devices use the V-lock system. 148Wh is more than enough to power a Sony A7SIII and Atomos Ninja V. [14.4 VDC] Don't have tons of experience with these batteries yet but with my 50wh v mount battery it held it in place well and let me fix it to fairly thick neck of my tripod so I could run power through dummy battery on my camera. If you need this kind of solution it works well...fells well made and holds in place firmly

[V-Mount] No problem putting a fairly high load on it...delivers even power, and charges nicely thru USB-C.

[5 V, 1 A] I use this with my nanlite Forza 60 and their D-tap cable...mount it to the light stand and voila! The clamp handle isn't great, but so far it's been holding up after a year of use

[V-Mount] I used to have two classes of battery - one I used in my studio and one that I traveled with. It was a pain because 98 Wh batteries only run my camera rig for a couple of hours. Watson have come up with a great solution of having one battery that can give me plenty of power and be broken apart for travel. Its a really clever way of getting the best of both worlds.

[14.4 VDC] First of all, I'd like to remind you that these plates not only accepts Micro V-Mount but ALSO accepts full size V-Mount batteries! it's the same V size. These will go well on anything rod like from 19 to 22 mm.

I've tested this on an Amazon Basic stands which I use a lot for loading lighter items since those stands are so light and it will fit on the lower section tube of that stand. So. to me that's perfect.

It would be cool if Watson came up with a figure 8 on this unit, divided in 2 sector design so it would accept a wider range of diameters. The screw would be then located at the largest part of that 8 shape, which would take care of both ways you try to place that on. But if you require a larger pole to mount your battery, Watson also makes on just for that. The BH link is https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1509727-REG/watson_mi_vm_sclamp_micro_v_mount_plate_with.html

I have almost every Micro V-Mount accessory from these series and I can assure you these things are nearly unbreakable and assemble VERY fast.

Another HUGE PLUS on this, are the threads and the wingnut. It has that Mathews craft quality. A simple tap on that wingnut will cause the whole thing to unscrew in less than 1/2 second. The quality of those threads is so good, it would fly out if you don't catch it on time. Excellent craftsmanship. You won't be turning that wingnut over and over. It's a simple tap on that wingnut and it's OUT. If you want something that mounts fast and to be able to mount your battery in the weirdest places, this is it!

[5 V, 1 A] This battery is working perfectly for me. Supports up to 15A continuous draw, which is more than enough for my needs. I'm using it predominately with my lights, and having a strong, powerful battery is very helpful and appreciated. It runs my lights a long time. It's also nice and small considering it provides 148Wh. That is fantastic. This would be perfect for a camera rig too because it will be able to run the camera and accessories for a long time. The build quality of this battery is also very good. It is made of plastic, which I like because it keeps the weight down, and appears well-made and durable. I also like that it has built-in intelligent control circuitry to protect against damage from current or voltage overload, overheating, or short circuits. This should extend the life of the battery and the items plugged into it. As expected, it comes with a d-tap out. This d-tap provides 12V at up to 10 amps which is good. This is helpful in powering a wide variety of accessories (servos, monitors, camera lights etc..). This battery also has a USB-A port that provides a 5V at 1 amp output so it can be used to charge a large variety of accessories or even a phone/tablet. That is a nice addition and comes in handy all the time. I love having a variety of ports.  Opens many doors for additional usage and functionality.  The battery also has a 5 LED power level indicator, which is always helpful and needed. I only buy v-mount batteries that give power level indicators because it is very annoying not knowing the charge left on a battery, or a way of knowing that it is fully charged or needs charging. To conclude, I am very impressed and happy with this v-mount battery. It is very well-made, powerful, compact, and versatile. It is a nice addition to my kit.
