We needed a pro look telepromptor to complete our video studio and this was just the ticket. Not only did it give us the look we were going for to impress clients, it was also well within our budget as we already had a tablet. The only modification we had to make was to raise the level of the mirror using some washers. This was to accomodate our overly large camera, not a design flaw by Datavideo.

Easy set-up. The remote is a great addition to the product, very helpful for the user.

The assistance of a teleprompter while working with people who are not comfortable in front of a camera, it a real asset and time-savers. For small operations, a telepromter costing a couple of thousand of dollars isn't practical. The Datavideo TP-300B is a quality solution at a very affordable cost.

Easy to assemble, solid build quality, easy to lock-down tablet device. The glass shipped a little smudgy but microfiber took care of that. The Datavideo Prompter App dv prompter isn't worth using. Overall good build quality and simple to use. The Bluetooth remote that comes with the prompter is a cheap wireless mouse that cannot control speed or resume a prompt after pausing it; just about worthless. I contacted Datavideo and was told it would cost for $125 for a wired remote and $150 for a wireless remote with no support for any other bluetooth device. I found a BETTER app called Remote Prompter for android that supports any Bluetooth keyboard with the following functions: Increase/Decrease scroll speed, increase/decrease font size, pause and resume on the fly. So simple to use I have a $15 Bluetooth remote paired with a Nexus 7. A 7 tablet is sufficient size, a 10 tablet would fill it out and possibly be too large.

This is a matching set, so use both pieces. Does the job.

I got this guy to help with video updates for the radio station I work at. Very easy to to set up. Instructions were clear enough. Once it was set up the app worked beautifully. I threw it on a cheap tablet and haven't had an issue. It works better than I thought it would for sure!

It works great! No wires running to a manual mixer. Set it up at the front of the stage and run wires across ice front of the stage. No wires across behind us or out to a mixer out in the audience. Nice eat easy set up. I did add an inexpensive router and used a Ethernet patch cable which I think helped. Great system!

We use this at my company for recording short video messages for our clients. It's taken our videos to the next level. Make sure you get a telepromter app that accepts the remote that comes with this telepromter. The app I bought didn't and I ended up having to use a wireless keyboard.
