A gallon develops around 32 rolls of 35mm film at 1:1, costing only 20 cents/roll which is slightly less than HL-110 (.21/roll), so this would put it in the economical category. The main setback is that you have to pretty much use it within 6 months of mixing it, so be sure to have 150' of film ready to shoot! 5
