Q: 6. Any problems connecting this to a mbp retina 2017? My 2015 apple usb keyboard won't connect via a usb hub. I had to use a usb 3 to usb c adaptor to connect to my Micar usb hub.

A: Our Mid 2017 MBP has to be connected using an adaptor (provided) as the keyboard only has a USB type A connector. But the adaptor to Lightning allows use of any of the four ports for the keyboard connection. I ended up using all four ports on the MBP as follows:(1) Power, (2) Wired mouse, (3) Superdrive, and finally (4) a USB-C VGA Multiport Adapter to add an external display plus a USB and a USB-C charging port. My keyboard is connected to a hub off a USB-B hub for keyboard and printer connections. Nary a problem.PS: The mouse is a direct connect making it easier to transport (it is a two button mouse making life easier and goes on the road whereas the keyboard does not).

[Silicone] Don't even think about using your keyboard without a cover. It protects the keyboard from everything - from dust and cookie crumbs to tea and wine spills knocked over on my desk. And it's washable. 5

[Avid Pro Tools] I love the touch and feel of this. The connectivity is flawless and the built in recharge battery lasts a very long time....like a couple months. It is slender and unobtrusive. Best keyboard I have ever used, including other Apple products. 5

[Avid Pro Tools] Most who would want a wireless keyboard with a numeric keypad have wondered why Apple did not introduce this when its keypad-less predecessor was introduced more than six years ago. So, here it is, finally, and it's just what you hoped it would be. There are no surprises, no design glitches or weird stuff to get used to, you just take it out of the box and start typing. If you are familiar with the older model, you will already be at home with it. Good show, Apple! 5
