Precise construction makes it easy to attach an adapted lens to a camera body and keep it secure during use. Infinity focus is guaranteed, ensuring proper functionality when shooting at long distances. This adapter features a built-in manual aperture control ring that will allow the aperture of the lens to be controlled for adjusting exposure and depth of field.

The adapter is made from a durable zinc alloy for long life. Although the lens will fit physically, autofocus, automatic diaphragm (AE metering), and other functions dependent on communication between camera body and lens will be disrupted by the lens adapter. Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I have lenses for my Panasonic gh4 and I am buying a Canon ef blackmagic. I have scoured the Internet for a converter that would work for this. No luck. Any leads?

A: The answer depends entirely on the specific camera you wish to use. In order that we may better assist you, please write us with further detail. provideo@bhphoto.com.

Q: 2. Is this adapter compatible with the nikkor 20mm 2.8 AI-S? This lens is the only Nikon that has a long rear protrusion.

A: Fotodiox does not state any limitations for which Nikon F mount lenses will mount to this adapter. Only functional limitations due to the lack of electronics.

Q: 3. Looking to mount my old Nikkor 105mm f/4 Micro to a G9. Will this fit the bill?

A: Yes it will!

Q: 4. Will this work with the Z-Cam E2C?

A: Yes, the Z Cam E2C has an MFT mount. This adapter should work with that camera.

Q: 5. I can't get adapter & lens apart after attaching. What is the procedure for disattaching lens from adapter?

A: The lens would need to removed from the adapter first by sliding the silver tab on the side of it. The adapter can then be removed from camera body using the lens release button.

Q: 6. What's the weight of this adapter?

A: The weight of the Urth Manual Lens Mount Adapter for Nikon F with Aperture Ring Lens to Micro Thirds Camera Body, is about a half a pound.

Q: 7. Can I use this with a k -mount lens that isn't an AF lens (that is, a pentax k mount camera that is fully manual)?

A: FotodioX Mount Adapter with Aperture Control Dial connects Pentax K mount lenses to Olympus or Panasonic micro 4/3 mirorless camera bodies. There are no adapters to attach K-mount to K-mount and convert manual lens into an autofocus lens.

Q: 8. will this adapter work with a Sigma lens?

A: Yes, if it is a Nikon F-mount based lens then yes it will work.

Q: 9. How much will the field of view be cropped using a nikon lens on a MFT camera?

A: A Nikon lens will act no different than a native MFT lens when adapted to a MFT camera. Both will have a 2x crop factor when compared to a full frame 35mm camera. The field of view will be half that of the same lens on a full frame camera.

Q: 10. Do the numbers on the adapter correspond to the lens accurate f stops?

A: No they don't. When the Metabones adapter is installed, it overrides whatever f-stop you might set on the lens. In other words the Metabones adapter takes complete control of aperture. The numbers on the adapter range from F (for full wide open, I guess) through 1-6 to 7 which is fully stopped down. One can guess that halfway through the range from F to 7 might correspond with a mid-range lens aperture of about f8 or so, depending on the aperture range of the lens one is working with.

[3 x 2.8 x 1.7"] This is a great fit for the Panasonic G9 with Samyang and Pentax FA PK lenses. The open/close function helps with manual focus since one can easily nail focus wide open with plenty of light then quickly and accurately stop down and fire.

[3 x 2.8 x 1.7"] My purpose was to use Pentax K-mount lenses on an Olympus M4/3 body. I wanted a well built adapter with solid physical connections on both the lens and body - tight but easy to remove, with no light leaks. I also wanted an aperture control dial, since my lenses have no aperture ring. I can honestly say that this adapter ticks all my boxes, and it would be difficult to beat the price.

B & H came through, as usual, with fast shipping and excellent packaging. Would buy this adapter again in a heartbeat (from B & H, of course).

[Zinc Alloy] Fit and worked as good as canon at a1/4 of the price. Despite what I've read I went and bought one. The Vello works as good as Canon. Adaptor is not loose on my camera and all functions work as they should

[3 x 2.8 x 1.7"] This works perfectly for me. Solidly built with a smooth aperture control ring. Locks and unlocks easily from both lenses and the camera body. I don't generally need to focus to infinity, so I haven't tested this. I'm using this with a BMPCC 4K.
