Q: 4. will this work to connect a Mamiya 55mm 1.8 lens M42 to an Olympus OMD EM1?

A: If you are referring to the Mamiya Auto Mamiya/Sekor 55mm f/1.8 (M42) lens, yes, the Dot Line Micro Four Thirds Adapter for Pentax M42 Lenses would allow you to connect the lens to the Olympus OM-D Mirrorless Digital Camera.

Q: 5. I have a Pentax 65ED spotting scope and an Olympus OM-D. If I buy the PF-CA35 adaptor to replace eyepiece on the scope, will this enable me to mount the OM-D body on the scope? Alternatives? Thanks.

A: Yes, if you use the Novoflex Pentax K to Micro Four Thirds Lens Adapter in combination with the Pentax PF-CA35 adapter, you could use a Micro 4/3 camera (such as your Olympus OM-D) on the scope. Please note! Your camera will need to be in fully manual exposure mode.

Q: 6. Will this work with the Blackmagic micro cinema camera & blackmagic pocket cinema camera 4k?

A: Yes, the Voigtlander Micro Four Thirds to M Lens Mount Adapter, B&H # VOMA43M, would be compatible for use with the Blackmagic Design Micro Cinema Camera. Do note that this is a fully manual adapter and there are no electronics to transfer information from the lens to the camera, so you would have to focus manually, as well as set the aperture on the lens. Because there are no electronic couplings built into the unit, exposures are only possible in manual or aperture priority mode. on

[Zinc Alloy] Does just what it advertises: allows a host of intriguing lenses onto my Micro Four-Thirds rig (e.g. Takumars) and mitigates a good chunk of the cropping penalty. So for example, a 50mm full frame lens would now be the equivalent of something like a 70mm and it also gains back some light. Great product!

[1.4x] A well engineered piece of equipment. Its most important feature is the flange on the lens side of the adaptor to accomodate the aperture pin. Most other similar adaptors require lens or adaptor to be modified otherwise you can only use your lens wide open! Balance is fine and it gives me the opportunity to use my fine collection of prime lens on my Olympus Pen!

[0.195 lb] I bought this to attach my old Russian lens to my GH5 and it seems to work well. I have tried it out in the field yet, but so far so good.

[1.4x] Works perfectly for my Helios 44-M4 lens on the BMPCC4K camera. Not even any glass elements to worry about getting dusty.

[Zinc Alloy] This adapter works fine. When connected to a Panasonic Lumix GH3 there is a little slack in twist movement but none in focal length. I am using it with Pentax bellows and a Minolta 75mm enlarger lens to copy Kodachrome slides. The adapter is all metal, well made, and is great value for something that should be useful for many years.

[1.4x] This review is knowing exactly is based on I knew exactly what I was getting. This Micro Four Thirds adapter feels sturdily built and attached to my Helios m42 58mm perfectly. It is a great standard, no frills adapter.

[Zinc Alloy] The Novaflex adapter has let me use my wonderful really old Pentax M42 50mm macro lens again, on my Panasonic GF1 and GH2. With the crop factor of 2, the lens becomes a 100 mm in 35mm terms, a very convenient focal length for macro work. The build quality on the adapter is excellent.

[0.195 lb] Backfocus dimension is eerily perfect, seems to reach infinity exactly at the infinity stop on the lens. Slightly worrying: what if it doesn't quite reach infinity? On the other hand, why argue with perfection?
This appears to be a single piece of metal, finished inside and out with some matte black anodizing or paint. Slightly worrying: what if it wears off and leaves black dust inside the camera? Chrome plated wearing surfaces would be more reassuring. But again, no actual sign of a problem.
Orientation of the lens when screwed on: quite acceptable, pretty close to centered. Fortunate, since it can't be adjusted.
Price: surprisingly low for something from this premium brand.
So, hey, seems like by far the best option out there for this kind of adapter.
