A: These lights are intended for stage lighting and not for photography. Chauvet does not publish the CRI rating on these lights. The CRI tells you how accurate a light might be. Leds can have a tendency to shift to green or magenta when they are pushed output wise (by the manufacturer) or when they are not batched with high standards. It is best to use professional photography lighting not stage leds if you want good color quality and consistency.

A: All fog machines will set off smoke detectors if enough fog is produced and they are particle sensor alarms. Heat sensor alarms will not be set off.

A: It is our understanding that the fog emitted from this machine will not harm audio components, but we recommend using the machine at a safe distance.

A: It does make noise. The manufacture does not list the amount it actually makes. But most attach hoses to it so they can put it further away so the sound is not noticed.

A: In DMX mode there are several options in 5 or 7 channel mode you can manually select the colors by increasing or decreasing the DMX value of the fader assigned to the specific colors and blending them to your desired color. In 1,2,3 channel mode your options are limited to random colors.
