You can make the fog stay pretty low if you pre-chill the fog fluid and put the unit on the floor. Some users of this type of machine even go so far as to push the fog through a wide diameter (e.g. 8"/20cm or greater) pipe with ice in it to cool the fog. If that's your thing, it could make for a fun DIY project. There are no specific attachments designed to do that.
