A: First you have to open the plate up fully by turning the quickset level fully open, then you tilt your plate and slide it into one of the long side of the plate, because the plate is open, then you can push the other side of the plate into place (it will not work unless the plate is fully open). Next you close the quickset lever one notch which allows you to adjust the position, then another notch to fully lock it.

A: The spirit level is in the rear, where it can be easily seen.Arca Swiss places the quick release clamp on the left side so that you can hold your camera with your right hand. Most cameras have a grip on the right, making this a more convenient and safer location than most quick release systems.There is no tightening knob for regular use on the Arca Swiss quick release system. The quickset has a two movement release. The first movement loosens the plate for tilt balance adjustment, but doesn't release the plate for safety. The second movement releases the plate. A: hii don't believe you can change only the clamp, it doesn't work the ska way i think, you probably have to change the whole quick release
