[0.6 lb] What can I say? This is a well built light modifier that will soften your light and narrow your spread for predictable separation of subject and background. The magnetic connection is solid and will stay on even with vigorous movement. If you want to get the most out of your Luxli Fiddle than you NEED this. [0.6 lb] Purchased this for small studio projects and night photography activities. Only used a few times these past two weeks since receiving it. Feels solid, the online manual is good to get you up and running and app works seamlessly. Still haven't used all the features but extremely happy with purchase so far. B&H delivery was fast.

[0.6 lb] I bought this with the diffusor to provide three different options of light pattern for the Fiddle. This attaches magnetically to the light and stays securely attached.

[0.6 lb] When I bought a pair of Luxli Fiddle LED lights I also bought diffusers for both. Unfortunately, Luxli didn't offer either grids nor barn doors for the Fiddle, so I wrote to them to ask if they would be willing to do so in the future and even offered to beta test prototypes for them. They responded with a nice form response and that was the last I heard from them. I decided to work with a friend who has a 3D printer and we created the design and started printing prototypes of our own. After we got the first prototype printed I was browsing the B&H site for something else and thought I'd check to see what accessories they offered that I might be interested in and to my surprise, they showed this Grid. I immediately ordered two and after receiving them I'm very happy I did. They are much better than the prototypes we created and I know I'll get good use from them. Now for the barn doors,

[0.6 lb] The LUXLI Fiddle already provides a precise, directional light, but adding this grid, it became even more precise. By adding this grid, you can create very interesting spots, highlighting a particular area and even for Macro Photography.


The grid is made of a rigid material, which I prefer over silicone.
The magnets are strong and will not come off the Fiddle.

[0.6 lb] One of my favorite pluses about the LUXLI Cello is that it
doesn't spill light all over the place and provides a more concentrated, narrower and effective beam. I could already have great results when wanting to spot light something in specific areas. But not as precise until I installed this grid. Now I can really pinpoint where the light beam is going selecting for artistic shots on both, people and products.

The actual grid is rigid (non flexible) and will not come off the Cello.

I prefer a rigid material instead of silicone. Being rigid, it stays in place and it doesn't attract dust comparing to a silicone one.

I you need a tighter spot, get this grid.

[0.6 lb] Found the fiddle LED light to do and be just exactly as described. It has excellent features turning some scenes into what would normally be a involved lighting set up into a very quick and easy production.
