A: The Weaver Flat Top Riser Rail only fits a flat top AR15 or M16. It does not fit on top of another rail.

A: You will have to replace the safety with a low scope safety. Then you can use low to medium scope rings. If you use the safety it has you would need high rings and the scope will be to high to use properly.

A: The straps of the Weaver Detachable Med Extension Top Mount Rings (Matte Black, 1"), BH # WEDRTMT1MEM, are fabricated steel with aluminum saddles for light weight and durability. These items are not available in all-steel versions. Recoil should not be an issue if mounted properly.
