[Wool] The gloves are very nice for inclimate weather here in South Central Wisconsin winter. Warm, and very easy to operate the camera gear

[0.105 lb] I use these liners with the Full-Leather Shell. They perform very well and allow me to operate my cameras when the shell is in the open position.

[Wool] These are clearly the warmest and best glove liners that I have ever had. Expensive, but for me, worth it. They are warmer and allow me to wear them alone at lower temps; however, I realize these aren't expected to protect you from cold. When cold, I used them with the Heat Company fingerless glove and mitten. With the liner, I can fairly easily manipulate the controls on my Sony mirrorless cameras. They also can be used on the touch screen. The only strange thing about them are the little 'sticky' things on the inside of the fingers and palms. They make it easier to hold things, but there are a couple of times that the palm 'stickies' are a nuisance. When driving, they keep the steering wheel from sliding thru your hand when turning. And when you put on the mittens, the liners then to cling to the mittens making them more difficult to put on.

[0.105 lb] The sizing is spot on, so go to the company website and double-check your hand size you get the right size the first time. I purchased these as layer one since they have an overmitten that I will pick up later in October. The heat pocket is in the right spot to keep your blood warm at your fingertips. And yes it DOES work on touch screens.
I love how they have d rings at the end so you can take them off and keep them together. They thought of everything with the gloves. Since they are soft and light I can see you wearing them out but I don't see a problem with that.

[Wool] I have warm hands. Nevertheless, I still prefer to wear a glove when temps are below 30F (-1c) as handling cold metal and carbon camera gear for a long time irritates my mild joint pain in my hands. I have been wearing a pair of shooting gloves in warmer temps, switching over to a pair of ski mittens with a finger tip flap for colder. Of course, neither were great for the in between temps, or when there was wind or rain/snow. Plus neither pair had a conductive pad for device use.
Enter the Urbex! I used them all last week shooting at Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge, in temps from 20F to 40F with winds and rain a few mornings and never once did I feel I needed more glove in the cold or get too hot as the temps crept up. The merino liners were soft and woolly but did not make my fingers feel like they were in sausage skins. The leather shell was flexible and grippy yet didn't feel flimsy. And the capacitive pads rocked. I was able navigate menus on my DSLR with ease.
My only complaint would be the fit. I usually wear a XX-Large in gloves, but this model doesn't come in that size. Other Vallerret gloves do. (Or maybe B and H just doesn't stock the XXL) The knuckles are a bit tight when I flex my fingers into a fist, but in general use it is not too restrictive. I still would prefer the XXL.
Great gloves are hard to find. Especially when you are looking for the 'middle' ground or the 'Goldilocks' point. For me, these are right on point.

[Wool] I have used the Heat Company gloves and wanted to try a heavier liner glove. This glove does the trick. I have found them to be comfortable down to 40 degrees F. I have cold hands. When these are added to the Heat Company 3 mitten I am comfortable to below zero.

[Unisex XS] These liners are warm, well constructed and have a number of desirable features. Touch screen finger tips, sleeves for chemical hand warmers and rings to clip them together/to your pack or gear. I ordered a pair of Heat 2 mittens in a size larger to go over these and really provide warmth/protection.

[0.105 lb] Perfect for cold days when you need to adjust your camera or phone. They can also be worn under the Heat Company Shell Mittens during very cold weather.

[0.105 lb] Got these because I had very thin merino wool liners and had to wear them plus other gloves. Got these to wear at the Conowingo Dam to photograph the Bald Eagles there. Wore them on 37 degree day with light breeze off the water and these kept my hands warm for 3 hours before I had to turn on my rechargeable zippo hand warmer. I only have to use the hand warmer because I’m standing still for 3 hours. If I have moving around more I’m sure the warmth would have lasted longer. Touch screen portion also works good enough on my pixel 3xl with a glass screen protector. Glad I invested in these.
