[16:9] I’m using this connected to my Canon R5 C. The monitor has great resolution and really helps me to pull extremely sharp focus.

[75 x 75 mm] It's not clear from the specs or the documentation, but in addition to its many other capabilities, this monitor does a wonderful job with the horizontal flip you need for use with a teleprompter. In my case, I'm using it with a small desktop teleprompter that typically uses an iPad to show a PC screen instead.

The A12 is a vastly better - finer and more capable - monitor than most monitors meant for teleprompter use displaying text. (They may have other advantages for text.) I'm showing various kinds of screens through it, not just scripts. You also need to turn off the underscan if the edges of the screen matter to your projects.

I'm writing this review using the A12 reflected through a teleprompter right now, and happy with the result.

I'll revisit this in a few months, after I've had time to see how it does over time and in multiple contexts, but the out-of-box experience, plus a few days, has been great.

[7 to 20 VDC] I'm a DoP & DaVinci Resolve Colorist, I have been using this monitor
for the last 6 days and I'm impressed with the quality and
with the versatility that I have with this monitor. So far so good.

Cons: - Monitor's sun hood is one piece of plastic, looks & feels 
a little bit cheap and since is all one piece, the sun hood 
won't close like barn doors, so, removal (for transportation) 
could be a little bit annoying because of the 3 knobs that have
to be screwed and unscrewed every time. 
I wish the sun hood could be more like barn doors, 
easy open easy close. 
(minor thing in my opinion, Still great monitor)

Pros:
- Great to have as a client/field monitor on set
- Lightweight & sharp enough to use it with a wireless follow focus  
for the AC.
- The A12 is a Portable & NOT a bulky monitor.

This monitor on a Mini Table Top Tripod + MacBook Pro + Premiere or DaVinci Resolve/ etc. = Very Nice Mobile Post Production Set Up with an affordable & great monitor.
btw, I'm in a hotel lobby right now using this monitor, (on battery) my laptop with Resolve and I love it!

[3840 x 2160] This monitor is great for indoor and outdoor use. It is very lightweight and thin. The histogram is a very helpful tool to have. Several input options.

[1x L-Series] I'm very happy with the A12 for its brightness and ability to use with a teleprompter. Nice that it's battery or a/c powered.

[7 to 20 VDC] I bought one of these several years ago, but I recently needed a second one. I didn't hesitate to purchase this Lilliput as I have been very pleased with its performance and I/O compliment. I didn't choose to use its side-by-side image feature because in that format the images are squished horizontally (the four up images don't have that problem). For the performance I get, this monitor is a bargain!

[18 W] This monitor is fantastic. Light weight and great size to run jib prompter. Bright screen. Have received lots of compliments from talent and directors alike.

[1x L-Series] This is a great versatile monitor for my kit! It's light weight and puts minimal stress on the magic arm, very slim so it packs well and the split screen lets me keep an eye on up to 4 cameras instead of buying more monitors.
It does chew through batteries though so count on using up to 4 NP-F970 batteries if left on for the full production day.

[1x L-Series] I've used this monitor with a Sony NP-F970 battery with my Nikon D850. I've mounted both on a Tether Tools Rock Solid Cross Bar on top of a RRS TVP-45, which is truly rock solid. I got this monitor for doing demos in the field during workshops. You can easily show students how you compose, expose, and focus. It's great for demonstrating DOF, too.


It's suprisingly light weight, and easy and fast to set up and use. Highly recommended.
