Support your DSLR, mirrorless, or small camera and add accessories with this CAMVATE Universal Camera Cage Top Handle Wooden Handgripfrom CAMVATE. The cage kit is made up of a top plate, baseplate, side cheese rod, top handle, and wooden side handgrip.

The side cheese rod creates the height of the cage and can fit any camera up to 6.7" in height. The side rod connects to the cheese-style top plate and baseplate, and it allows the top and baseplate to slide up and down to adjust the interior height, Both plates feature multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory threads for a variety of mounting options. The baseplate features a 1/4"-20 camera mounting screw, as well as padding to protect your camera from scratching and prevent twisting.

The top handle mounts onto the top plate and features a shoe mount, a single 15mm rod port, and multiple accessory threads. The side handgrip is crafted from rosewood for a comfortable grip and connects to the side cheese rod using two anti-twist screws.

[Aluminum, Wood] For the price it doesnt get much better than this. I cant envision myself ever spending $200+ on something like this after buying this product. The build quality is fantastic - absolutely no loose points or any wobbling once you take your time to get it adjusted to your setup. Connection points everywhere, all the hardware fits perfectly and the tools you need to set up are included, although I was provided with an additional alan wrench that doesnt appear to fit anywhere as well as extra hardware that I cannot figure out what it was intended for - not that I think I will need it seeing as the construction is quite sturdy and the materials seem high quality. The real test will be how well it holds up over time. PROS: Build quality is fantastic. two different size side-rods for different camera sizes, the other can be used in the 15mm rod mount on the handle. Minimal hardware CONS: Wood is low-quality. Might be heavier than some prefer. Not easy to just pop the camera in and out of the cage, definitely requires a bit of time for setup/breakdown 5

[1.68 lb] This thing is perfect for any camera that may not have a cage built especially for that model. It is a good build, was easy to put together, and is exactly what I needed for my Panasonic Lumix FZ1000. 5

[1.68 lb] For the money this is a great hand grip. I paired it with a rosette articulating adapter so that I could twist this with ease and save hundreds of dollars vs the shape grip which does the same thing but costs hundreds for some reason. 5

[1.68 lb] For the money I can't complain much. I don't find the top handle that useful so I think that could have been an add on and lowered the price even more. Same with the wooden handle, don't need it so would have liked the option to buy without it. The only alternative for cameras with a battery grip is the much more expensive Wooden Camera/Manfrotto tall cage, so I am still very happy with this cage and it's amazing value. 5
