The CAMVATE Camera Half Cage Wooden Handgrip for DSLRs Right-Sidedis designed for use with select Canon, Nikon, Sony, and Panasonic DSLR cameras. It includes a baseplate, top plate, two 4.2" arms to mount the top and baseplates, one 4.9" side cheese rod, and one 5.7" side cheese rod.

The side rods feature 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded mounting holes to mount handles or rig elements; swap out the 4.9" rod for the 5.7" rod to fit a slightly larger camera. The baseplate provides a 1/4"-20 screw to secure your camera, rubber pads to protect the base of your camera while mounted, and two 1/4"-20 mounting holes to mount on virtually any tripod or rig. The arms and the top cheese plate provide numerous 1/4"-20 threaded holes for mounting accessories. The cage's open, modular design allows all elements to be adjustable and are attached via Allen screws.

We suggest adding the following Cheese rod to the cage. A: We're afraid not. This is for select Camvate cages only, it is not compatible with the CAME-TV cage mentioned.

Q: 9. Is this compatible with the Sony FS7?

A: Not directly since there is no left hand side ARRI rosette on the camera. However, if you have a baseplate that has a left hand ARRI rosette, and you add an extension, yes that would work. Tilta Extension Arm for Side Handles B&H # TITTE02 should work.

Q: 10. Will it work with a Sony a7R II?

A: Yes it will. This is a Universal Cage that will be able to handle the A7RII.
