The CAMVATE Dual Handgrip Set for Rod Mountallows you to expand a 15mm LWS baseplate (or similar camera support) with dual handgrips. The set includes an 11.8" 15mm rod handlebar, two handgrips that attach to each end of the rod, and a 15mm LWS rod adapter that mounts everything onto two 15mm LWS rods. The handgrips are rubberized and can be adjusted forward/backward/sideways when you loosen the lever on the top of each. The other components are also secured in place with levers. The 11.8" rod features M12 female threading on the ends so you can screw in additional rods, sold separately, to extend the 11.8" length.

A: Yes it can be. There are 1/4"-20 threadings under the rig that you can use to attach it to a tripod.

Q: 5. Can I put a ronin S plate on this?

A: A Ronin S plate will fit on a Manfrotto 501 style quick release (which is featured in the CAMVATE Manfrotto-Style Quick Release Plate), however width of the Ronin S plate is slightly less than a Manfrotto style and may not full lock into place. Please also note that even though the Ronin S plate can fit on a Manfrotto style quick release, a Manfrotto style plate will NOT fit on a Ronin S.

Q: 6. Will this work as a replacement to the standard pan bar on a Manfrotto 504x tripod head?

Q: 7. Can the grip be replaced with any other bicycle grip?

A: I'm sorry the CAMVATE Rubber Handgrip with ARRI-Style Rosette grip is not replaceable. However you may be able to modify this part on your own.

Q: 8. what is the diameter of the section above the grip but below the screw section?

A: The rod of the CAMVATE Hand Grip with 1/4"-20 Thread for DSLR, Monitor, or Video Light has a diameter of 15mm.

Q: 9. can the ball head be removed?

A: while it appears that the ball head can be removed the manufacturer does not recommend it

Q: 10. Hi !! There is no counter weight?

A: No this device does not include a counter weight

[Dual Handgrips] This rig, right out of the box, was easy to assemble and incredibly sturdy. The shoulder pad is very comfortable, the leather handles provide a strong (and stylish) grip. All together it takes about one minute to assemble and once broken down, takes almost no space in a bag. A must have for those who aren't keen on gimbals. 5

[Dual Handgrips] Bought the Camvate handle shoulder mount to use with a Sony FS5 on a Smallrig shoulder pad. It's very well made and the grips are really comfortable . I recommend this product without hesitation. Thanks B&H! 5

[Dual Handgrips] The shoulder rig is highly customizable and works well with my Canon 6D. I bought a cheese plate to mount more accessories and next I'll buy a counterweight. It's a good base to work off of but depending on your needs you may need to buy more accessories. 5

[1.185 lb] I had been in the market for a shoulder rig for about a year or so. Tried a couple different versions and brands. This was super easy to assemble, worked out perfect for the job I needed it for. The only thing I need now is a counter weight for heavier setups. Great piece of equipment though. 5

[Dual Handgrips] We have multiple of the Camvate Shoulder Rigs for our video camera's. I can tell you I like the quality for the price and with B&H I can get them quickly. What my field camera operators will tell you is they are easy to use, comfortable for an extended time (like shooting football), they feel sturdy yet easy to adjust between operators and can take the constant jostle of moving about the field . For our purpose a counter weight is needed to balance the camera weight. A V-mount battery accomplishes that. This is a very good shoulder mount rig that does it's job, doesn't cost a ton and my people like. That's why we've made them our go to shoulder kit. 5
