A: Camvate does not list a weight capacity for this arm. However similar sized arms tend to have a load capacity of no more than 5 pounds. Also this arm is really designed to handle an accessory, not a camera itself.

Q: 4. I would like to mount a small camcorder to the top of my workstation display. Will this attach and hold to a 32" display having a 1/3" bezel?

A: This arm is really made for smaller, lighter accessories. We do not recommend it for a camera.

Q: 5. Does this splitter has 8 VDC Barrel Male (5.5/2.1 mm) connector?

A: no it does not. these are the DC outputs listed 12 VDC 7.2 VDC 5 VDC (USB Type-A) 14.8 VDC (D-Tap)

Q: 6. Does this have adjustable hard stops?

A: It does not.

Q: 7. Does this fit onto the komodo X side rib cage system?

A: The SmallRig 12mm/15mm Single-Rod Clamp will mount to any cage that has a 1/4"-20 thread receiver with an Arri Anti-Twist pin hole next to it.

Q: 8. Are the rail holes 60mm apart?

A: Yes they are. This is a standard 15mm rod support system, which has 60mm spacing between the rods.

Q: 9. Is the thread 3/8 Whitworth? I'm hoping it's the same threading on the top of a boom pole. Thanks.

A: The 3/8"-16 end is the same as boom poles with 3/8"-16 ends. A boom pole's 3/8"-16 screw will not screw into the CAMVATE 3/8"-16 Mount To 15mm Single Rod Clamp. Any 3/8"-16 female coupler will connect the two items together.

Q: 10. Can you remove the screw that holds the thumbscrew, leaving another threaded 1/4"-20 hole on the clamp, or is the screw permanently attached to the clamp?

A: The thumbscrew is required to tighten the rod clamp on the 15mm rod. In addition to that the screw for holding the thumbscrew is smaller than a 1/4 20

[3] As far as I can tell, the folks at SmallRig can do no wrong (at least for me). I must have more than 30 of their various cage and shooting gear solutions and they have NEVER let me down. These simple 15mm rod clamps are no exception. I wanted to mount my focus motor from above on my FS7 and TA DAH. Easy peasy. Again. 5

[1/4"-20 Male ] When needing more clearance, the Camvate Shoe Mount Rod Holder is the ideal accessory to attach a follow-focus or FF motor between support rods and a large-diameter lens. The rod holder clamps the support rod tight, so there is no movement from the torque of the follow-focus or FF motor. However, there is the slightest bit of play in the shoe mount—this is eliminated with a little gaffer's tape. 5
