A: The ARRI Triple Filter Tray is only compatible with the SMB-2. You will need the Anti-Reflective Frame for clip-on matteboxes as the SMB-2 has the tilting function. A: Yes, a circular polarizer comes with the Arri Rota Pola Frame.

Q: 5. What focal lengths do each numbers correspond with?

A: There is no standard on what lens works with what Matte when using the ARRI Set of Mattes for LMB-25 & MB-19 Matte Boxes (5-Pack). It would be based on the lens used and using correct Matte that the lens can not see.

Q: 6. What is the extinction ratio of this filter?

A: ARRI does not publish the extinction ratio for the ARRI Rota Pola Frame.

Q: 7. Is the glass inside 138mm or a 4.5" filter?

A: I contacted ARRI concerning your inquiry. They state they do not have the filter on hand to measure, and while their website does not list the glass size measurement, they do believe it is a 4.5" filter. They state if you require the 138mm size, you need to go with a larger matte box and purchase the ARRI Rota Pola Filter Frame 6.6x6.6, B&H # ARK20017086.

Q: 8. Do these also fit the Arri LMB 4x5?

A: Yes, these will fit the Arri LMB 4x5 models as well as the LMB-5/15/25 and MB-19 model matte boxes.

Q: 9. Will this filter fit in the MovCam MM4 mattebox? I know the Tiffen fits, but this one Im not sure

A: After purchasing both the MM4 mattebox by Movcam and the ARRI RotaPola, they fit. So the answer is yes, they will work together.

A: The ARRI Diopter Frame 138mm is only compatible with the LMB-5, 15, 25 and 4x5.

[1.9 oz (53 g)] It fits the Chimera 4x4 frame well - with some extra room left, which makes it very easy to use - you just need some clamps and you're good to go. Super easy to fold back to its compact position - I was worried it would be much harder. Good quality for the price too! 5

[1.9 oz (53 g)] Bought to use on my Wescott 4x4 snap-together frame. Fits perfectly -- and stays in place with my sewing velcro to the inside edge of the grid (now hold tight to the frame). The grid is well made and with the usual TLC befitting such a tool I expect it to last a good long while. 5

[0.1 lb] Of course you have to pay, but Arri designs are second to none. The extensions are great for packing these down into your case, and smooth operation when you need to extend side coverage. A must if shooting with diffusion filters outside or near hard, sidey light sources. 5

[1.9 oz (53 g)] As a product tester for this system it has become a part of my everyday kit. I longer have to carry around a bag of filter tags or have to worry about loosing one of leaving it behind. This system is integrated into your filters and automatically reads the filter in the mattebox and display it on the cinetag. At the end of the day hand the cinetag off the to the dit and let them download the meta date from the day. You no longer have to question what was in the box just look it up. You can also daisy chain CineTags to display the info to other areas of the set, 1st AC, dit, script supervisor, slate and monitors. 5
