The white Electro-Voice EVID-S4.2T is a pair of 4” 2-way 70/100V commercial loudspeakers designed to provide full-range sound reproduction and even coverage for system designers, installers, and audio engineers configuring systems for paging and background and foreground music in stores, clubs, eateries, schools, and more. Each speaker is IP54-certified for weather-resistant use outdoors and features a fire-rated ABS plastic enclosure. A pre-assembled mounting system and supplied mounting hardware enable simple and efficient setup.

A removable, locking 4-pin Euroblock connector allows for compatibility with commercial amplifiers. The 4” woofer and 0.75” high-frequency driver yield a frequency response of 75 Hz to 20 kHz. With a 98.5 dB maximum SPL and a coverage area of 110° by 110°, the EVID-S4.2T speakers deliver consistent audibility and even sound distribution.

A: No. The CVT-MA12EX is an optional transformer which is only required if you want to use the MA12EX in a 70V or 100V constant voltage system.

Q: 4. what type of Amplifier is suitable for these speakers?

A: i use a crown xls 1500 and it seems to be properly sized. i also use distribution amplifiers to control a rack of amps, ie. another 2 crowns for fhe subwoofer, more evids, other locations, etc.

A: The JBL Control CRV Weather-Resistant 70/100V Loudspeakers use "Screw Terminal 2-Pole Speaker Input" which use bare speaker wire for connection. The screw terminals on each speaker clamp down to the bare wire and do not use any other connectors.

Q: 6. Is it possible to connect 2 of these together with a wired connection?

A: Yes, you can connect 2x Electro-Voice EVERSE 12 Weatherized Battery-Powered Loudspeaker with Bluetooth Audio and Control (Black) via the XLR MIX OUT. That will send the audio from speaker A to the input of speaker B.

A: Yes the Electro-Voice ETX-10P Portable Powered Loudspeaker is 100-240V compatible.

Q: 9. Hi, am working in a venue with EVID4.2 speakers installed. I was hoping they are the 100v line version as they have the sticker for tapping on the back with a plastic plug in the middle. I cant find a "T" anywhere. Would these be 100 volt?

A: Constant Voltage / Transformer Taps 70 V / 100 V: 7.5 / 15 / 30 W or 8 Ohms Bypass 70 V: 3.75 W or 8 Ohms Bypass

A: This is a passive speaker that requires an amp. The connectors on the back are screw-in Euroblock connections.

[4" / 102 mm] We installed 5 pair of these speakers for a Mexican restaurant. Sounds amazing and the speakers being all black really helped with blending in in the all black ceiling. The sound is full and does not distort at all. 5

[15 W] Picked up two pair of the EVID 6.2 speakers to use as height speakers in my Atmos/DTS:X system. I built tall custom stands to support the 6.2's instead of wall-mounting them. These speakers are doing an outstanding job in their role as height speakers, and I think a pair would be equally suitable as main L/R satellites when coupled with a subwoofer. I'm powering my 6.2's with a Crown CTs4200, which, at 180 RMS watts per channel, is an excellent match for them. 5

[15 W] Love these speakers. Installed 8 in a venue, 4 in each room and they sound amazing! But add a 15 inch subwoofer and it sounds like a club! Amazing quality, clarity and overall volume these 6.2 evids produce! 5
