The white Electro-Voice EVID-S5.2T is a pair of 5.25” 2-way 70/100V commercial loudspeakers designed to provide full-range sound reproduction and even coverage for system designers, installers, and audio engineers configuring systems for paging and background and foreground music in stores, clubs, eateries, schools, and more. Each speaker is IP54-certified for weather-resistant use outdoors and features a fire-rated ABS plastic enclosure. A pre-assembled mounting system and supplied mounting hardware enable simple and efficient setup.

A removable, locking 4-pin Euroblock connector allows for compatibility with commercial amplifiers. The 5.25” woofer and 0.75” high-frequency driver yield a frequency response of 60 Hz to 20 kHz. With a 109 dB maximum SPL and a coverage area of 90° by 90°, the EVID-S5.2T speakers deliver consistent audibility and even sound distribution.

A: These speakers have a very tone for their size and price. I have a bunch of the installed in our classroom for a couple of years now, and have never experienced heating or performance degradation.

Q: 3. Is there any way to run a static speaker off of this system?

A: The Electro-Voice EVERSE 12 Weatherized Battery-Powered Loudspeaker with Bluetooth Audio and Control has an XLR line output, which could be used for audio output to a powered speaker, mixer, power amp, or any other device with a balanced line input.

Q: 4. Can I use old Marantz receiver:2230 with 30W RMS per channel ?

A: These speakers require much more power than 30 watts. I would recommend the Bose 161 Full-Range Bookshelf Speakers (Black, Pair), BH #BO161B, which can handle 10 to 100 watts.

Q: 5. Is this a powered speaker, or does it require an amp? Also, what kind of connectors are on the back? 1/4", XLR, etc.

A: This is a passive speaker that requires an amp. The connectors on the back are screw-in Euroblock connections.

Q: 6. Could two of these speakers be connected in parallel to a 4 ohm mono amp?

A: When conecting two of the Pyle Pro PDICRD 5.25" In-Wall/In-Ceiling 150W 2-Way Stereo Speakers (Pair, White) to a 4Ω amp, they should be wired in series to maintain an appropriate load.

Q: 7. I live inPhilippines. Will this work on 220:or just 110?

A: The Electro-Voice EVERSE 8 Weatherized Battery-Powered Loudspeaker accepts 100-240 VAC power input.

Q: 8. Are these speakers switchable between 4 and 8 ohms?

A: Two of the speakers with a stereo amplifier will be 8 ohms. If you add another pair of speakers, they would run at 4 ohms and require twice the power.

Q: 9. Hi, am working in a venue with EVID4.2 speakers installed. I was hoping they are the 100v line version as they have the sticker for tapping on the back with a plastic plug in the middle. I cant find a "T" anywhere. Would these be 100 volt?

A: Constant Voltage / Transformer Taps 70 V / 100 V: 7.5 / 15 / 30 W or 8 Ohms Bypass 70 V: 3.75 W or 8 Ohms Bypass

[30 W] These electro voice speakers are incredible. B&H was great, even though their storefront in New York Ciry was closed due to the protests and looting, my order arrived from the warehouse in two days. 5

[Passive] I got these speakers for an small bar that is within an exotic cars dealership. To make long story short. During the day they have the volume close to nothing but you can hear everything! Every single instruments so there is no need to turn up the volume. Usually speakers have very low quality in low volume and you need to force your hears or turn up the volume. But these speakers are a bliss.... accurate response like a Yamaha studio monitor. And then... when rising the volume they sounds great! it was a huge surprise, best that Bose speakers or anything else. All we need for the venue is a 15 powered sub base but that will make it a club. Buy them with your eyes closed and we are using a Beringer amp, it works perfect. 5

[White] Picked up two pair of the EVID 6.2 speakers to use as height speakers in my Atmos/DTS:X system. I built tall custom stands to support the 6.2's instead of wall-mounting them. These speakers are doing an outstanding job in their role as height speakers, and I think a pair would be equally suitable as main L/R satellites when coupled with a subwoofer. I'm powering my 6.2's with a Crown CTs4200, which, at 180 RMS watts per channel, is an excellent match for them. 5

[IP54] Easy to install with attached mounting hardware. Excellent sounding and weather resistant. Installed these and the 5.25” weather proof EV speakers as an outdoor system for a 1-12 grade school. Installed a total of 30 speakers. The administration was very happy with the results. 5

[30 W] Really natural sounding speaker in a tough but lightweight cabinet. Versatli can be a floor wedge, stuck on a stick or flown with the optional eyebolts or mounting bracket. 5
