Using the 2.4 GHz Godox XProC TTL Flash Trigger for CanonX wireless radio system, the Godox XProC TTL Flash Trigger for Canoncan be used to effectively and reliably trigger flashes from up to 328' away, and when used with compatible flashes and receivers users will have the added benefit of remote power control. This model is compatible with Canon's E-TTL / E-TTL II system, including support for high-speed sync up to 1/8000 second, and offers advanced control options along with settings for working with system-specific features. For ensuring maximum reliability and control, users can set up 16 groups on one of 32 channels and can then access 99 wireless ID settings for limiting interference from other nearby systems.

In addition to basic manual and TTL control modes, other settings are available, including stroboscopic flash and second-curtain sync. Users can adjust flash exposure compensation from -3 to +3 EV as well as wirelessly control the modeling light, zoom setting, and more. For using the XProC with other camera systems there is a 2.5mm sync port that supports triggering via a wired connection. Also, a USB Type-C port is present for firmware updates and the devices run on two AA batteries for convenience.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will it operate the af-540fgz?

A: This transmitter is designed to work with Godox X series receivers or Godox lights with the receiver built in.

Q: 2. Will this work with my Canon EOS RP and Promaster flash?

A: If you have a X1r-c for the flash it will.

Q: 3. Can I mount the XproO on my GH5 Panasonic Lumix and control my Godox TT685N? I already have the strobes and an AD600BM and I dont want to buy new strobes for OCF. Thanks in advance!

A: Yes this transmitter will fire a TT685N, but you would be limited to manual flash control only.

Q: 4. I just purchased the XProN and only group A, B and C can be set to TTL group D and E can only be set in manual mode, is this normal?

A: Yes that is normal

Q: 5. This is driving me crazy. With a Sony A6500 how do I use HSS with this unit and a godox ad200?? Both the trigger and the unit say HSS and the camera wont get any usable images above 200 shutter speed....

A: If half of the image is not exposing (is dark ) then you are not achieving HSS if you are over/under exposing you just have to adjust the F-STOP on the camera ( make sure you have Sony trigger )

Q: 6. Is the Godox XPro-O required to get off-camera wireless TTL capability between my Olympus EM-5 II and the Godox TT350-O? Also -- I'm not looking to have a multi off-camera setup... is this overkill?

A: The Godox TT350O, already has the receiver built in to receive the signal from the Trigger. This adapter would be necessary to attach the flash to a lightstand. Impact Umbrella Bracket B&H # IMBSM

Q: 7. Please, I don't understand the difference between these Godox triggers: X1T and XPro? Is XPro the new improved version of X1T? Can the XPro, camera mounted, control the following flashes: TT350, TT685 and AD200? Thank you!

A: All of then have the same functionality to trigger and adjust all Godox X2 series flashes and strobes. Even the older versions can be firmware updated to work with current Z series cameras. The X1T is a lower profile device that sits on the hot shoe and allows a flash to be stacked on top. The XPro has a larger screen and more physical controls for making adjustments quickly. There are two versions of each style that are functionally identical just with different button layouts, however, the old version of the X1T is no longer sold as far as I can tell.

Q: 8. Will this unit work as a transmitter for canon speedlights?

A: not directly. You would need to attach Godox X1Rc to your Canon units.

Q: 9. High speed sync

A: Yes, this trigger offers HSS with a compatible flash.

Q: 10. Will Godox work with elinchrom strobe and is it compatible with its high speed sync functionality?

A: No, the Godox XProN TTL Wireless Flash Trigger for Nikon Cameras and Godox's X-wireless radio system are not compatible for use with Elinchrom's Skyport wireless radio system. If you already own the Godox XProN and you simply want to trigger the Elinchrom strobe, you may purchase a compatible X-wireless radio receiver such as the Godox X1R-N TTL Wireless Flash Trigger Receiver for Nikon, B&H # GOX1RN, along with a sync cable such as the Vello 3.5mm Remote Shutter Release Cable for Cameras with 2.5mm Sub-Mini Connections, B&H # VERCCC135. However, this will only give you manual wireless triggering capabilities, and would not give you TTL, high-speed sync, or wireless power output control.

[2x AA] If you're comfortable with speedlights and off-camera flash, prepare to be amazed. This is a seriously capable light source, especially with the bare bulb flash head. I recently used it as a key light in a 4-hr studio session and didn't come close to draining the battery (we did have several costume change breaks, but still). If the results I've achieved so far continue, I'll order a couple more. The speedlight head can light up a group of people from across an open field and the bare bulb fills my modifiers in a way that typical speedlights just can't. This is such a powerful light for how portable it is, and I can't believe it took me this long to try one out. The case is a nice, high-quality addition, but as soon as I have a few more I'll build out a new and improved field kit. Highly recommend.

[32] Great powerful portable flash. This is my second Godox AD2000 Pro Flash. Love it!

[16] I own three Godox speed lights, the TT350, V860ii and the V1, with the Pro X trigger (Fuji). This unit is a blessing to own, powerful! It's easy to use in a softbox, beauty dish or with a diffused reflector. The bare bulb option is something new to me that I have not experienced prior to owning this unit. I plan to add a second unit in the near future.

[1/8000 Sec] Most versatile product

[1/8000 Sec] This was my first off camera strobe. Extremely simple to use. It is so much better than an on camera speed lite to fill in shadows on simple (aka not professional) portraits. My only regret is not buying one sooner.

[2x AA] I carry two in my vest when on location at weddings or outside portraits. I use the Ad 400 and 600 as my go-to studio strobes, but I will also use the 200 as a third light as needed. It's simple to use, and the attachments make it very versatile. It's light enough so my wife, who helps with lighting, can hold it above our couples with a MagMod setup. At large wedding receptions I will bring two of the Ad 200s plus either my 400 or 600 and with the small size of the AD200 it is much easier to pack in - set up - and then tear down at the end of the night. Love these AD 200 flash kits.

[32] This is My 4th AD200 and I absolutely love it. I use the AD200Pro to light my corporate event spaces for extra punch of light.

[32] Lightweight and versatile. Combined with my softbox it creates soft pleasing illumination. It also works great in HSS when exposing for details in the background.
