[16.5 lb] This is an excellent TV stand. That's all you need to know, but read on for more detail. I bought this, like others did, to raise my TV (TCL S517 49 HDR 4K TV) enough to be able to place a sound bar (Sonos Beam) in front because the feet that came with the TV were not tall enough to allow the sound bar to sit in front of the TV without obstructing part of the image. Assembly of the stand was very easy. I put this together right after assembling a bunch of Ikea furniture, and I can tell you this was much more organized. All of the different fasteners and included tools (everything you need to assemble it is included) were in two long plastic bags, with each tool or type of bag in its own heat sealed and labeled section. It was very convenient because you could leave the screws you didn't need (it includes many sizes of screws for different TVs) sealed in the bag so that you don't lose them. The stand itself is very nice looking, with good construction and a clean, black finish. The stand was able to raise the TV above my sound bar, to the perfect seated eye-level when sitting on an Ikea Brimnes TV unit. The swivel is a nice feature, and the mounting design makes leveling the TV easy should it not sit perfectly the first time. 5

[16.5 lb] Used this with Samsung UN40MU6290 (40 in TV). I needed to raise the TV further off of the dresser so that a Sonos Beam soundbar could fit beneath the TV without blocking the IR receiver on the TV. The stand that came with the TV was too low. The SANUS VSTV1 stand is well built and comes with all of the necessary screws and attachments. Putting it together was not difficult. I was able to adjust it so that the TV was at a perfect height to work with the Sonos Beam soundbar. A lip on the lower portion of the TV (and small TV size) limited positioning of the vertical brackets that are attached to the TV. For the height that I needed, this meant that the brackets stuck out approx 1 cm above the top of the TV. I ended up using a saw to cut off the ends of the bracket so that they did not stick out. 5
