[23 x 16 x 11"] This is an update of the model I've been working with for the past 13 years, and there are many significant improvements. The rubber hand grip on one of the legs is much more substantial, and the height has increased by 4 inches. The levers are longer which gives you more leverage when flipping them open and shut--however the quality of these levers feels a tad more flimsy. The rubber feed pads are more robust. And best of all, the lock at the top of each leg now opens in the opposite direction, towards the tripod feet. So their much, much easier to click open and spread the legs outward. Lastly, the legs are no longer completely round, which adds strength and allows the legs to glide open with more ease.

[3/8"-16 Male] This is a solid, well-designed and easy to use tripod. I know it's silly, but unpacking this tripod made me smile. It's actually a pleasure to look at and use. Just another great product from this brand.

[23 x 16 x 11"] For a few years, I was using a MeFoto travel tripod while I was in the learning stages.  As I progressed to better camera equipment, I found that I needed a beefier tripod.  I find this 90GO! to be exactly what I needed.  It is very sturdy and works great with my Manfrotto Pan/Tilt head.  My Nikon D750 with my 28-300 lens works in concert with this tripod very nicely.  What drew me to this model is the twist locks, especially after pinching myself on the tripods that have the clip locks.  The other thing that I like about this tripod is that the center post can be brought all the way up and then put in a horizontal position.  It allows to different angles and height adjustments when taking macro photos, especially low to the ground.  If you are over 6 feet tall, this may not be the tripod for you, as it will not go high enough for you.  For my 5 foot frame, it is perfect.  Also the carbon fiber makes this tripod much lighter and the legs will not get cold to the touch as the aluminum does.

[3/8"-16 Male] Solid, easy to adjust, lightweight and attractive. What more do I need in a tripod? I already had a head for it — a Manfrotto MH494-BH ball head that I love. I saved it from my previous aluminum Manfrotto tripod. I'm a fan!

[4.5 lb] The legs extend quickly and are very stable. Will use for holding a heavy spotting scope and my full sized camera with telephoto lenses.

[4] Ive been considering a Carbon Fiber tripod for some time, mostly for hiking. Were planning a couple trips next year and this will be perfect.
It will fit in a carryon suitcase. Looking forward to getting more use out of this tripod.

[4] The Manfrotto tripod replaces a 30-40 years model 3405 whose twist-lock legs became a nuisance. Oddly the MT190X3 does not seem heavier than the 3405. The 190 is really solid and easy to set up. I love the level-lock legs, no more leg slipping while using the tripod. I use a Manfrotto 494 Centre Ball head on the 190 and it works very well with the tripod.
