The Telex LH-300 is a lightweight RTS single-sided broadcast headset designed to provide comfortable 2-way communication for production crews, team personnel, and engineers in television production, sporting events, and theater shows. It features a noise-canceling dynamic microphone on a rotating boom for easy configuration in left- or right-side setups. Ear cushions and headband pads deliver comfort over extended periods of use.

The 200 Hz to 10 kHz frequency response attenuates ultra-high frequencies and low-range rumble for a sound tailored to speech. The cable is 6’ long and has an XLR 5-pin male connector.

A: Unfortunately Telex does not currently offer a PH88 headset version that is compatible with an iPhone.

A: The specifications provided by Shure are for the version with unterminated cable end. The model with the 5 pin Neutrik plug attached is not described anywhere in any Shure manual...!

[0.82 lb] The PH-88 is ubiquitous in broadcast control rooms and live production trucks, and for good reason. Good for all-day use, high quality speaker and microphone, durable, reliable, easy to fix and adapt for at-home use. $180 may look like a steep price for this, but it's the least expensive piece of pro production gear, and the one that gets the most use. Well worth the price. 5

[300 Ohms] Let me start where I should when reviewing this Senal Headset, the sound quality is good. When wearing it, I can hear well, and my voice comes through clearly to those listening to me speak. That is probably the most important part of a headset review, and it checks the boxes for me. The second thing I want to mention is this headset is comfortable to wear. I've worn other headsets that are too heavy, not ergonomically balanced, pinch your ears, or don't expand enough to fit properly. But these adjust and fit very well for me. And the cushioned paddings are comfortable and soft. When wearing it, sometimes I forget I even have this headset on, which is a good thing. I also want to mention that I love that the wire can be changed. This allows me to use this headset with a variety of systems. That is a huge plus in my opinion. It makes these headsets very versatile, and a value buy. The cable also twist locks into place, so no fear of it disconnecting. I love that design. The last thing I want to mention is I'm also impressed with the build quality. It feels well-made and with quality materials. This headset should last a long time if treated properly.
