The Ultra Firecrest series filters exhibit greater clarity and have lower reflectivity than the original Firecrest filters. Borrowing from the range of Firecrest cine filters, the Ultra series filters undergo a secondary lapping and polishing process after the initial polishing and bonding stage. A: This should not effect the focusing system much. If you were using anything 6-stop or more, the you may see varying results, but because it is only a 3-stop, you would be more than fine.
