The Tiffen 6.6" Clear Standard Coated Filteris a simple, clear filter designed for general protection for your lens. This optically clear filter does not affect the overall image quality while helping reduce dust, scratches, moisture, and other elements from damaging your lens. This filter is standard coated for helping to reduce flare and improve light transmission.

Tiffen filters are made using ColorCore technology; a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch.

[Single Coated] Was looking for a diffusion filter for my tcl-x100 to give my portraits back some of that softer feel I used to get when shooting on film. This does the job to perfection, retains sharpness, softens highlights, reduces contrast. Plent of videos online demonstrating the effect but you can take my word for it, it's an awesome filter! 5
