Q: 3. Why does my Sony MDR 7506'sÂ headphone jack not fit into the XDJ RR's headphone input?Â Both have 1/8" / 3.5 mm. Note: The Sony's 1/4 inch does fit.Â The 1/8 inch does not.Â The Sony's 1/8 inch jack is not insertable! The Sony is at least 10 years old; however, this should not matter.

A: It should fit; any 1/8 mini (3.5mm) jack (female) on the dj mixer would work with the 1/8" mini on the headphones. The newer Sony MDR 7506 headphones come with a removable adaptor (it is a 1/8" to 1/4" adaptor). This adaptor is also available at B&H, part #: PEAMPS3S or (better) RESONY18ADPT

Q: 4. Does rekordbox work with exFat? My MacBook Pro will not allow me to format my ssd Samsung T7 to the Fat32 format. The Fat32 option is available only for windows computers (NOT SURE). This question applies to all pioneer dj equipment which use rekordbox together with an external hard-drive. Rekordbox does not see any music files stored on my SSD; however, it does show (recognize) the existence of the T7.

A: No, rekordbox is not compatible with exFAT at this time. According to Pioneer DJ, it is possible to format your drive to FAT32 natively within Mac or from the command line or using third party tools in Windows.

Q: 6. Can I use this controller with my Rekordbox software on my laptop as well?

A: Yes, as long as your computer meets the system requirements, this will work with and machine that has Rekordbox. You will notice that the controller has two USB A ports. This would allow you to connect two computers at a time, so you can access music from either, or in a multi-DJ situation each DJ can have their laptop connected and ready to go.

Q: 7. Compatible with Audio technica m50x?

A: No, the Pioneer DJ HC-CA0701-W Coiled Cable for HDJ-S7 Headphones is not compatible for use with the Audio-Technica ATH-M50x Closed-Back Monitor Headphones. The connector that attached to the headphones is different. Audio-Technica uses a 2.5mm TRS connector and the HC-CA0701-W cable has a 2.5mm TRRS connector. For a compatible replacement cable, you can use the Audio-Technica HP-CC Cable for ATH-M50xWH Headphones - White, Coiled (B&H # AUHPCCWH).

Q: 8. Will these fit on the HDJ-700?

A: These Pioneer DJ pads are only for the HDJ-S7.

A: These pads are designed expressly for Pioneer HDJ-S7 Headphones. We do not know if they will fit other models not recommended by the manufacturer.

[0.12 lb] The Pioneer DJ HDJ-X5 are simply excellent headphones, superior to many far more expensive. First they pickup the full spectrum of sounds with clarity and strength, from the lowest to the highest, balanced and without distortion. Also they are extremely well made, made to be durable and long lasting. They are the best I have bought in the last 50 years and I have bought many. 5

[7.5 x 2 x 0.1"] I did not get these for their intended purpose DJ'ing. I bought them as an output for a FLAC player (FiiO M11). Initially I tried to use in ear headphones but couldn't get the sound I wanted out of them. These headphones are unbelievable and deliver a beautiful listening experience. FLAC or TIDAL + these headphones make music fun again! 5

[0.12 lb] I left my old DJ headphones in another city and needed a new pair of proper cans for a DJ set the following day. B&H were the only place I could find within transit reach that had both colors of these handsome flagships available on display in-store so I could give 'em a test drive before laying down the cash. They sound great and have decent isolation, but best of all they feel robust and durable. Yes, there's a lot of hard plastic, but there's clearly metal where it matters most, and the plastic helps to keep them from getting ridiculously heavy during long mixing sessions. I think Pioneer found a solid middle-grounds and did it right. Very pleased with this purchase so far, they were great during my set last night! Will update if anything goes wrong in the future. Expecting at least 5 years of regular use out of these, and they feel like they can definitely handle that. 5

[0.12 lb] Could not decide which headphones to get, retuned several pair, money refunded immediately. Finally purchased Pioneer hdj x10. Arrived super fast. Free shipping free returns. My prayer for this company is to weather the storm our country is suffering and come through bigger and better. Service like this is simply Amazing. Plan to keep these headphones, even if I decide I don't want to. B&H has won a devoted customer who won't mind spending just to be spending as long as it's with a truly reputable business like B&H. [7.5 x 2 x 0.1"] Over the years I have gone through many headphones almost all of which broke. The head band broke or one of the ear pieces broke off. These are extremely well made and virtually unbreakable. More importantly, it has superb sound able to pick up from the lowest frequency to the highest! The sound is very rich, full and clear.
