Illuminate entire rooms with this FotodioX Lantern Globe Softbox 32" Elinchrom Speed Ringfrom FotodioX. With a partial silver reflective interior, this white globe is ideal for creating soft and even light that spreads in all directions. It comes equipped with an Elinchrom speed ring, making it compatible with several Elinchrom strobes and the Calumet Genesis line, among other models. Made of a heat-resistant fabric with sealable venting, the softbox can be used with strobes and continuous lights including hot lights. A push down clip system makes set up and tear down quick and easy, and a carrying bag is included to simplify transport.

A: I would say no. This material is for leds or quick burst flash or strobes.Hot Lights would burn after a short time. However at the price point its an expendable.You can always order stronger material from Jem Lighting in Hollywood. Or have it made local.

A: This softbox is not compatible with the Broncolor Picolite.

A: Yes they are Bowens S mount

Q: 8. Can this softbox (20 ) handle the heat from a 500W tungsten source? Also, do you know of a socket mount for regular bulbs that is compatible?

A: I'm only using it with a Novatron bare tube strobe. That 500 W puts out a lot of heat. Can you go to LED?

Q: 9. Will this work with the Nanlite Forza 300 or is the 26" better?

A: It will work but on such a powerful led larger would be better.

Q: 10. Does the ez pro 32x48 softbox open like an umbrella like the octodome in photos on your site?

A: This box has a rapid umbrella type mechanism.

[5.25 lb] This Softbox by Fotodiox is a wonderful product. �Unlike the Octagon version of this modifier, the softbox version does not require extreme force to open making this very pleasant to work with. � Definitely going to purchase a second. �My only negative with this box is that it is a bit smaller than the advertised size. 5

[43 x 8 x 8"] The product works as expected. I love B+H because of their prices and quality customer service. I can tell you how narrow my go to sources have become... Pretty much B+H and then @.I will never shop at @ again! Bar none the worst place to buy photography equiptment. 5

[43 x 8 x 8"] I use this to attach my Photoflex Octoadome to the Elinchrom Quadra reflector adapter. It attaches quickly and securely, adding minimal weight. I like to use the setup on a handheld boom and this works brilliantly. 5

[Silver] I initially bought this speedring to replace the one currently in use by my large octogonal softbox. The reason being very simple, i wanted to get the softbox mounted on the stand directly, as opposed to weighting down the flash. This speedring contains 10 holes total, if i counted right, and 2 of them are threaded at least. Using the threaded hole, i can mount it directly on a heavy duty bracket which is on the lightstand. Giving me all the normal flexibility, and just having the flash take no weight other then its own. Invaluable! Especially after 1 flash's mount broke from the weight and a sudden push. The downside ? It recesses most flashes a bit too much, the tunneling is annoying but not particularly bad, a simple fix would of been to flip the speedring mount to allow the flash heads to be further out. 5

[43 x 8 x 8"] I bought this soft box on a recommendation from a B&H rep, and I am definitely not disappointed. It was easy to set up, and it delivers really nice light! Highly recommend!!! 5
