With a partial silver reflective interior, this white globe is ideal for creating soft and even light that spreads in all directions. It comes equipped with a Flash speed ring, making it compatible with most hot shoe flashes available on the market. Made of a heat-resistant fabric with sealable venting, the softbox can be used with strobes and continuous lights including hot lights. A push down clip system makes set up and tear down quick and easy, and a carrying bag is included to simplify transport.

A: Yes this will work on a F160.

Q: 9. Can this softbox (20 ) handle the heat from a 500W tungsten source? Also, do you know of a socket mount for regular bulbs that is compatible?

A: I'm only using it with a Novatron bare tube strobe. That 500 W puts out a lot of heat. Can you go to LED?

[Silver] We bought this for a wedding shoot. We needed to get soft light onto the bride and fathers/groom for the first looks. Quickly popped open and attached to the Bowens mount an put out even light on both subjects. We are planning to put out YouTube videos about our adventures in being a new production company and have found the we can light both of us on camera without casting shadows on each other, like we did with our regular soft box. 5

[Fabric, Nylon] The first time I used it I thought how are these images going to turn out? but they looked better than I thought they would. I am impressed by this ball of light, and it is easy to put together. I had it up and running in about five minutes. 5

[4.99 lb] I love how fast and easy to set this softbox up, it is large but if you do have a strong light to attach on, it will create a very good fill light across a very large area. You can keep the softbox wrapped in a bag for storage which does not take as much space and is very quick to set it up all again. 5

[4.99 lb] I have been using this light modifier for the last six months and it has quickly become one of my indispensable pieces of equipment on any set. Thanks to the bowen mount I can throw a 120d or 300d LED into the light and I have an instantly portable and powerful fill, kicker and sometimes a key. The light is soft and beautiful. I outfitted an old audio boom pole with a small cardillini clamp, making this light source super flexible. It can be easily positioned anywhere by a grip. Another benefit is that unlike a lot of other light modifiers, this softbox is very easy to set up and break down. I can set mine up in less than 90 seconds and breakdown is even faster. 5
