A: Manual control, on the Studio Series, is done by buttons, not rotating knobs. If you require 5-pin DMX connections, and if Cat5/RJ45 is unacceptable, please specify at the time of order. A: According to the manufacturer, the LED 1000 Pro Daylight LED Light would have more output with a CTO filter attached to it than the LED 1000 Pro Bi-Color LED Light when set for 3200 Kelvin.

[5/8" (16 mm)] We at EffinFunny have been using these lights for a year now, and they are sturdy, durable, easy to use, and you get a ton of flexibility with the bi-color. We had a couple issues with the power supplies that were promptly resolved by Aaron. They are very communicative at dra-cast and work to make sure that you get what you need quickly. They're just nice guys that want to do good work! Refreshing. 5

[5/8" (16 mm)] I'm both a professional photographer and cinematographer and I bought this originally for location video work. The output is incredible (My meter reads f-11 at 1/50 of a second at ASA 400 from 4' away.) The large source produces a much more pleasing light than smaller source led's just by the size and I was able to fake a chimera (strobe-based softbox) on it and it looked amazing.The dimming is accurate and flicker-free and the color is near perfect (certainly better than any other LED I have used) It only weights 10 pounds and while it's large, the quality of the light makes it worthwhile for me to take it on location. It's also powerful enough to use for still work, similar to how you would use a kino - but def requires some opal or tough spun to soften. Also their customer service is the best - No complaints! 5

[1.2 lb] Many softboxes are not well made, and are falling all over the place, and need constant adjustment because the hardware is poorly designed. This baby's hardware was built with lots of thought, build like a rock, and diffuses light beautifully. 5

[1.2 lb] We have 4 Dracast LED 1000 lights, all with battery packs. These lights have been tested time and again as 100% of our videos are shot on location. Second, when you lose a wingnut or damage a cage, which we have, oops, they are easily replaced and the cost is reasonable. 5

[5/8" (16 mm)] I bought the previous version of this light from Dracast directly and had some issues with it. I called the company and after some more issues, I finally got to a person who was very helpful, ha made the situation right and even replaced the faulty unit with this version, which was very generous and great because this light is amazing. It's nearly impossible (and not worth the trouble) to run it off batteries, but it is such a large source, that it creates gorgeous, soft light with some spun in front of it. The micro-shadows are non-existent, the hardware is tough, and the led is far more accurate than guessing at some vague lines on a dial. 5

[1.2 lb] The battery option is a game changer, I was able to do a quick testimonial in a grocery store and not look for a plug. This will make shooting footage easier and most of all Safer. 5
