The Thor 4-Channel HDMI Encoder IPTV Streamer Dolby AC-3from Thor 4-Channel HDMI Encoder IPTV Streamer Dolby AC-3accepts up to four input channels of uncompressed HDMI video. It can be managed through any modern web browser. Each encoder can be independently adjusted for bit rate, codecs, and video image qualities. All four program streams are multiplexed into an ASI MPTS output on mirrored BNC terminals. The ASI output can be directly connected to the ASI input on a QAM-IP digital TV channel modulator, allowing for additional programs to be added to the QAM-IP output channels as additional virtual or sub channels. It will appear as channels 2.1 or 2.2, and each digital channel can carry as many as 20 programs, depending on resolution and encoded bit rate.

In addition to the ASI output, the program streams are also available as UDP or RTP network video transport streams. This output is fully compliant with IGMP multicast UDP MPEG-TS standards, and can be easily injected into almost any IPTV system. The stream is a universally accepted format, and can easily be viewed in client applications such as VLC. In addition to network management on a dedicated NMS Ethernet port, all settings and menu configuration items can easily be viewed or adjusted from the front panel LCD and keypad. LEDs are also provided for alarm monitoring and input video detection.

[4 x HDMI] Using with the 4kQuad-4Channel and this works reliably in a 24/7 environment. 1080i59.94 and 1080p30 sources. I'm using with the internal SFP port and not the built in network. It's a little bit funky to get it to swap between the two, but once it's set, it says there. 5

The unit at the projector is set to recieve from the other unit which can be plugged onto the network from any location around the stage, booth, or the rest of the facility for that matter. Easy for presenters to just plug on and present without fighting the technology. 5

[7.2 lb / 3.3 kg] Almost any camcorder produced before 2018 doesn't have NDI capabilities but with the addition of the Birddog Mini, you can make a leap into the world of networked video without any heavy lifting. Excellent choice for any church or school that needs to stream video but doesn't want to incur the cost of wiring for video. Any HDMI source can be plugged into the Mini and using a local network, connected to a computer with a streaming application such as vMix or OBS. No capture card necessary - it just works. This is a device that needs to be in the toolbox of any serious videographer. 5

[4 x HDMI] I've been selling and installing both the RF only and RF+IP models of the ZVPRO since 2015. We had one power supply fail in that time frame. That unit was in a less than ideal location being bombarded with construction dust. The customer also had daisy chained power strips which I'm sure didn't help. That's it. We've had no other issues. All these units are still in service. 5
