Q: 9. What is the actual base diameter? Was wondering if my RRS BH-55 Ball Head with Lever-Release Panning Clamp (2.9 base diameter) might work w this ultra pocket pod even if it looks to be slightly wide.

A: I have a RRS BH-55 ball head. I put it on my pocket pod and it does indeed function the same as if it were on a larger tripod. As was already stated, even with the legs fully deployed, they do not touch the bottom of the BH-55 ball head.

Q: 10. How does this compare to the GorillaPod?

A: The Gorillapod would have a base plate that is less wide, but it would offer the ability to wrap its legs onto a rounded surface. The TFA-01 can only work on flat or slightly uneven surface when the legs are tilted.

[0.94 oz / 27 g] Really solid attachment points. Includes Apex QD attachment as well which was a pleasant surprise but wasn't mentioned in any of the postings. Paired together you can attach a Magpul QD sling, I use the MS4 dual QD sling and it is perfect to sling on your back and keep shooting. Excellent addition to my photo kit. 5

[0.1 lb] This is perfect for my everyday camera bag. The plastic tube fits perfectly, so I can carry this out and have it with me all the time. For RRS Ball Head, you are going to need the screw adapter, which is included what a great company. 5

[0.1 lb] The quality is very good. Tool to attach the collar was included. It is light and it does not interfere with the normal handling (customer from Germany, forgive the wording). So - it‘s pricey, but I really enjoy the nice build quality of RSS products. It was also my first order at B&H. And it went flawlessly. Very fast delivery and no problems with customs. If I need something else, which is not directly available in Germany, it‘s a no brainer to oder again in your store. 5
