A: We feel since the Canon 1D X is 6.6" tall and the bag in only 4.96" deep, that this bag would not be a good choice.

A: Yes, the internal pouch is removable. We tried the combination of the 5D Mk IV, 2.0x EF Extender, and the 300mm f/2.8 (without the hood) and we were able to get it to fit. The top of the bag where the body would sit is a little snug, but would still fit (albeit a little tight) with the hood on.

A: Yes, it will fit.

A: The Lowepro Flipside 500 AW II can hold the Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS lens. It is able to hold the lens on its own, or mounted to a camera body.

[Yes] I just returned from my first photo trip with this backpack and really liked it. What a quality, sturdy pack. I was skeptical about the flipside-open movement (new to me), but it works really well. I carried two camera bodies and three lenses-one telephoto, one wide-angle, one mid-range-and would have room for one more. My 15 MacBook Pro also fits in it. Great side pockets: I carried a Stanley thermos in one and a thermal bottle in the other, but they're obviously versatile. Since it holds so much, the pack can get pretty heavy, so I opted to carry my tripod separately, but I like the way it attaches to the pack when you do want to carry it that way. Inside the pack, the small pouch is helpful and I love that it's removable, but there's something about the design that's not great for me; can't find my stuff easily in it. Other than that though, I'm off to a great start with this camera backpack. Really pleased with its quality, design, and functionality. 5

[Yes] I had the original Flipside 500 and it worked very well for years. This is one is probably slightly better. I can fit my camera with my Tamron 150-600 attached, even with the hood in normal position. I also have room for another camera, 4-5 lenses and all my accessory stuff. It functions well as a backpack when needed although I mainly use it for my car. 5

[Zipper] I needed a large pack to carry my camera and several lenses and this pack fits the bill. The pack feels fairly comfortable and I plan on using it any time I need to transport my gear. 5

[4.85 lb] I would say that the bag in terms of construction is perfect, but the only thing that bothered me was its straps, they are just thin compared to the equipment and weight that people carry in the bag. 5

[Universal] I have bought a couple of new lenses and my previous case was too small. This is my first Backpack case and I love it. It holds all my gear securely and is just perfect. I especially like the zipper to access my gear is on the inside next to your body so that no one has access to the gear when wearing the backpack. 5

[Zipper] You can pack a lot of stuff in this baby. Roomy and well made. It holds my 5DmkII camera, 4 lenses including the monster 100-400 mm, Fuji X100V camera, two chargers, 5 batteries, assorted filters, lens hoods, memory cards, cables, remote shutter release, and other misc. items. Additionally, I can strap my tripod to the outside and drop 2 water bottles in the side pockets. Everything is easily accessed and secured. The only thing it needs to come with the bag is a mule to carry it all. 5
