A: Absolutely - depending on the version of Audition you use, it may require the WDM driver set to be installed, which is included in the download drivers form Digigram. I have probably half a dozen PC's using this card and Adobe Audition V3.

A: i don't see why not. you will need to provide 3.5mm jack to connect with startech.

[PCIe] More than a week since a new build and installing this to replace onboard sound. Very satisfied with installation. Painless. Sound output is quite noticeably better. Clearer high notes on music tracks; better bass range. Games have a 'fuller' sound to them. Haven't pushed this to it's limitations, but likely won't as I get all of the sound manipulation my games require already. I had forgotten how much more robust add-in sound cards could be than the onboards. 5

[PCIe] Sound through the sonar xe is a lot clearer and precise. My voice through my microphone is a lot crisper too. Well worth the purchase. 5
