Put together with lighting experts in mind, this PortaBrace Gaffer Tape Belt Kit for Secure Gear Attachmentfrom PortaBrace Gaffer Tape Belt Kit for Secure Gear Attachmentis a hands-free system for conveniently carrying your tools while around the set or on location. The main components are an adjustable nylon belt with four D-ring clips, and a 12" nylon strap that closes via a touch fastener. By attaching the strap to one of the D-rings using its snap hook, you can easily carry tapes and cables around and keep them within reach at all times.

[12" (30.5 cm)] Rolls of tape (gaff, painter's or duct) tend to be far too large to fit in even my largest pockets. There are some easy cheap options for carrying it around, such as a loop of rope. I like this holder because it makes it easy to carry tape and also tear off a length with one hand. And if I need to hand the roll to someone else, the spring loaded bottom makes it easy to remove the tape from the holder. All in all it is a useful tool that I'm glad I have. 5

[1.25 lb] Works great except for larger/thicker rolls. Could use some extra width for larger belts and rolls and it would be perfect. Still, it's the only solution like it. My whole team uses them. 5

[1.25 lb] The package came on time and with everything except the second roll of gaff tape. I only realized there were supposed to be two rolls while writing this review. It only arrived with one roll. The belt is well built and designed with the gaffer in mind. Everything attaches really securely with a double/triple velcro system. The variety of pouches and hooks are nice. I have used one of these in the past so when it went on sale I took the chance to purchase it and I am super pleased. There are lots of small compartments in the small pouch to stay organized and have lots of tools. The second pouch is large and open to be able to hold a variety of larger things. The fabric and stitching are quality work. I am looking forward to filling it and using on set. 5

[1.25 lb] So as my headline says, I am not a Gaffer. I’m a journeyman painter with 10 years on the brush. I saw this by chance through another painter on Instagram and knew I immediately needed it. It has done wonders for me on the job site. No more leaving a roll of tape on my wrist all day because I have it swinging from the back of my belt with this amazing tool. Everyone on the job site is jealous and wants one for themselves!!! HIGHLY recommend. 5
