The efficiency of Class D amplification is combined with the augmented current of the discrete 32A 600V MOSFETs to help enable lower EMI, high efficiency, immense low frequency output, and precise driver control for enhanced performance at nearly all drive levels.

The digital processor is designed to maintain accuracy and sound quality through in-room tuning, enhanced frequency response curves, DSP controls, and more.

  • Room Gain – Tailors the roll-off slope to the acoustics of the room for enhanced frequency response accuracy and deep in-room extension without the "boominess" commonly associated with room gain.
  • Advanced Limiting – Allows the amplifier to deliver its maximum power and maximize on the driver's potential with high output and virtually no distortion.

Active PFC serves as a line conditioner, surge suppressor, and voltage regulator, letting the amplifier handle wide voltage fluctuations and helping to ensure that the subwoofer operates flawlessly on nearly any household circuit, regardless of incoming current instability. An isolated circuit creates a low noise floor by virtually eliminating the potential for ground loop hums from outside components for enhances sonic transparency. It lowers the average current and smooths the power input current, allowing for a 1200W output from a traditional 15A power outlet.

Q: 1. Do u know how much around the postage??

A: You can add it to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout, (with no obligation) to see shipping options.

Q: 2. Do you still get the SVS warranty purchasing through you?

A: Yes. We are SVS authorized dealers and you would receive the full manufacture warranty.

Q: 3. Is it 220 volts ?

A: It is dual voltage. It requires 100 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, SVS confirmed.

Q: 4. Can I request the 220V version?

A: We are not able to get the 220V model.

Q: 5. How to book sb3000 sub of 220 volts unit only

Q: 7. Is it dual voltage? Can it be used in 230v power socket?

A: This subwoofer requires 100-120 V 60 Hz. You cannot use 230 V. SVS does sell high voltage subs in other markets, outside of the United States.

Q: 8. Is it under universal voltage that I can use in Asia, including Hong Kong and China?

A: No this supports 100 to 120 VAC, 50 / 60 Hz for compatibility in North America only.

Q: 9. Support 240v?

A: The SVS 4000-series subwoofers are auto-switching for AC voltage and will support 100-250V. Ed M - SVS

Q: 10. what is max spl output of the svs pb16ultra?

A: The standard for measuring subjectively clean maximum dynamic output is CEA-2010. There are accurate 3rd party measurements available for the PB16-Ultra at the below link. These were obtained outdoors, away from reflective structures, with the mic on the ground plane at a distance of 2 meters. Indoor SPL will naturally be considerably higher than these measurements with boundary reinforcement and room gain considered.a href= https://www.audioholics.com/subwoofer-reviews/svs-pb16-ultra-subwoofer target= _blank https://www.audioholics.com/subwoofer-reviews/svs-pb16-ultra-subwoofer/aEd M - SVS

[Bass-Reflex] I added this as a second sub to a 14 speaker Atmos system to compliment an existing SVS PB-2000. The ported sub provides the room shaking movie experience, and this sealed sub supplies the punch for surround music. I love the metal grill too.
At close range I did hear the low level noise that another reviewer mentioned but four feet away the noised was swallowed by the room ambience.

[Bass-Reflex] Using this in my desktop nearfield setup with a pair of JBL 308p MKIIs. Crossed over at 60Hz with a 12db slope they fill in the low end perfectly. Tight and controlled, doesn't sound boomy. Size is perfect to sit under my desk (granted I have a pretty large 72x39 desk so might be a tighter fit depending on your space).

Can't speak for home theater usage, but I'm running this at 50% power and the bass presence is definitely elevated well above reference levels. Fairly confident this would work well in a small to medium sized living room setup. For a larger space I'd probably want something bigger, or at least a ported sub like the PB series.

[Bass-Reflex] I purchased the SB-3000 as a replacement for my SB-1000. Having similarly tiny footprints, I expected some noticeable difference, but nothing dramatic. I couldn't have been more wrong! I use it in a small dedicated home theater room measuring 3.1m(L) x3.4m(W)x2.7m(H). My system is calibrated to 79dBC which I have found resembles the perceived loudness the large commercial cinemas the most. Calibrating to 85dBC in my room would sound far louder than even IMAX. So theoretically, in a 7.1 set-up, I would be asking my subwoofer to output a peak of around 111 (99*7+109)dBC at the listening position. Other subwoofers at this price range might struggle with such demands, but not the SB-3000. In fact, even after calibrating the system flat to +/-3dB, I still found the system sounding bottom-heavy during bass heavy scenes, more so than I remembered hearing in IMAX theaters. And then I found out that in Dolby Atmos' specifications for commercial cinemas (IMAX doesn't release its technical specifications, unfortunately), the subwoofers are only expected to go down to 31.5Hz +/-3dB. Therefore, to make sure that movies sound as they were intended (in large cinemas), I have to apply a 32hz high-pass filter to my subwoofer. Imagine that! The subwoofer is so powerful that even after equalization, I still need a high-pass filter to reduce the low frequencies unintended by filmmakers! Now, I understand that some people like their ultra-low frequencies, and there's nothing wrong with that. But if you have a small room like mine, like to watch movies at IMAX levels, and is content with the amount of low-frequency output found in IMAX, then look no further!

[126.8 dB] I am so satisfied with this purchase. I'm planning to buy a second subwoofer.

[19 to 310 Hz] Bought this to supplement new Yamaha surround receiver. My current sub is an iconic Velodyne ULD18 purchased at the time for its accuracy and speed (it compliments a pair of Magneplanars). Well, this SB3000 has not disappointed. It is subtle yet powerful and effortlessly handles the deepest bass transients with clarity and authority.

[19 to 310 Hz] This won't shake your house like a 15" ported sub but it has nice tight bass that isn't boomy. It's great for music. The high level inputs allowed me to connect to my tube amp for hifi while using the RCA connectors for home theatre duty, so it's doing both. I'm intending to get a second identical sub so I have one beside each of my mains. The app is awesome - no more running to the sub to adjust every time you want to turn it up for a movie.

[28 x 24 x 23.5"] I have the ported PB-1000 and PB-2000 Pro in duals in my family room and basement respectively. I replaced this with an SB-3000 in my bedroom and replaced an SB-1000 in my office with this sub.

I like thick bass but in my bedroom or office I don’t want boomy bass. This subwoofer is amazing, not cheap but amazing. It doesn’t dig super deep but it digs deep enough to enjoy jazz, hip hop and old school soul, which is what I listen to the most.

I use this sub to augment my Audioengine HD6 speakers. They really rock together. There are more powerful subs, bigger and brawniest subs, but for the money I don’t feel there is a sub with the combination of bass and clarity that emanates from this little, superbly built box.
