Active PFC serves as a line conditioner, surge suppressor, and voltage regulator, letting the amplifier handle wide voltage fluctuations and helping to ensure that the subwoofer operates flawlessly on nearly any household circuit, regardless of incoming current instability. An isolated circuit creates a low noise floor by virtually eliminating the potential for ground loop hums from outside components for enhances sonic transparency. It lowers the average current and smoothes the power input current, allowing for a 1200W output from a traditional 15A power outlet.

A: The SVS speakers are meant specifically for the Atmos feature. Unfortunately you may not get the same type of audio compared to Standard Front Left and Right Speakers.

A: We do not offer the unit in 220V. The amp itself is made as 220v, but the manufacture puts a jumper on the amp that converts it to 110V. To convert the amp back to 220v, you would need to remove the jumper from the amp and use a 220v power cord. For this you would need to contact the manufacture for the instructions to do so.

[MDF] I am incredibly pleased with the quality of bass this adds in such a compact cabinet. No, this is not a ported 18 with thousands of watts of amplification. It also costs a fraction of the price and takes up a fraction of the space. I am not sure why others have complained of low output. The sub is more than capable of pressurizing a small room or providing reasonable bass extension in a medium room. Keep in mind that the default level is -10 db on the sub itself, which can be adjusted on the back panel or more easily through the SVS app. Always recalibrate your system when changing components. If your receiver's auto calibration set the sub out to -10 db based on your previous sub and then you switch it out for a new sub that is itself set to -10db, of course you might get low levels. Hope this helps. This is a great compact subwoofer for smaller / non-open-floorplan rooms. Just remember to calibrate your systems and such. 5

[83.05 lb] this subwoofer is paired with a set of KEF LSX in my home office. subwoofer really brings the LSX to life. I also greatly appreciate the app and its quick setting options for music, movie and default. you can immediately hear the difference when you switch modes. I use default for conference calls which lowers the bass. Went with the Micro because of it's size for my small space and the reputation of SVS. I am not disappointed. 5

[83.05 lb] I both the SVS PB-2000 for my home theater. I had some surround speakers, but something was missing. I got this bass and now I can feel like I'm at the theater. I can feel the bass in my seats. My theater is not very large, and this bass might be a little much for it, but it really does the job well of giving me the bass I'm used to at AMC. 5

[83.05 lb] I have the ported PB-1000 and PB-2000 Pro in duals in my family room and basement respectively. I replaced this with an SB-3000 in my bedroom and replaced an SB-1000 in my office with this sub. I like thick bass but in my bedroom or office I don’t want boomy bass. This subwoofer is amazing, not cheap but amazing. It doesn’t dig super deep but it digs deep enough to enjoy jazz, hip hop and old school soul, which is what I listen to the most. I use this sub to augment my Audioengine HD6 speakers. They really rock together. There are more powerful subs, bigger and brawniest subs, but for the money I don’t feel there is a sub with the combination of bass and clarity that emanates from this little, superbly built box. 5

[134.5 dB] I added this as a second sub to a 14 speaker Atmos system to compliment an existing SVS PB-2000. The ported sub provides the room shaking movie experience, and this sealed sub supplies the punch for surround music. I love the metal grill too. At close range I did hear the low level noise that another reviewer mentioned but four feet away the noised was swallowed by the room ambience. 5

[Active] The PB-3000 replaces two BIC F12 subs. And man-oh-man, this is like a night and day difference. This thing rumbles down low. After I watched a few movie clips that contained enormous amounts of bass (War of the Words, Flight of the Phoenix, TRON Legacy, Super 8), I finally realized what I missing in my home theater. When I was done and left the room, I noticed that a picture had fallen onto the floor, and it was from a wall outside the room. The mobile app has a ton of settings, but I'm a novice when it comes to tweaking sound settings, so I went with the default Movie setting, and it sounds fantastic! Definitely one of the best purchases in a while, and well worth the money. 5
