[0.5 lb (0.2 kg)] I own three of these and I love them. If you actually fill it up, and your records aren't leaning much, you'll have to trim the foam so the lid will close. I wouldn't call that an inconvenience though because if you only carried a few records, they'd lean and you'd need the thicker foam. 5
