[Nylon] Tenba has always had good camera bags. This one is great for travel and also out for a day shoot. I traveled to the Pantanal with this bag. I used it for our daily excursions. We were on open buses looking for animals and birds. And I used it on boat trips to photograph Jaguars. I could put my Canon R3 w/attached 100-500 lens in it. I also had an extra body and lens. And other small photo gear. The dividers have velcro so you can personalize it for your needs.

[2.95 lb] The design is ideal for the sketch artist. The laptop compartment holds a 14.5 x 11 x 1/2 inch pad snuggly. The grid holds every pencil, eraser, sharpener, etc. within easy sight and reach. The shoulder pad is very comfortable. The workmanship and materials look good on first day, I am curious to see how it holds up.

[2.95 lb] Just got this wonderful bag. It fits my OM-1 and four lenses with other assorted gear. There's room for a 16" laptop and a tablet. I have used other Tenba bags for many years and they held up well. This one is very well designed and has the features most of us would want in an over the shoulder camera bag.

[2.95 lb] After carrying the de facto standard journalists’ bag (begins with D, ends with e) since the mid-1980s (went through 5 or 6 terrific, wonderful bags), my lenses and their hoods no longer fit in that layout. My recent purchase of a Nikon Z 85mm f/1.2 with a 4” hood forced me to a different layout. I chose the Tenba DNA 16 Pro messenger style which puts my lenses in a nice, tight row with lens hoods in locked-and-loaded, ready-to-go position. I positioned one of the padded flaps over the shortest lens and my camera body rides on top.



The materials are durable and pleasant to touch. Memory card wallet, cables, paperwork, tissues and mints fit neatly in the zippered side pocket. You do need to make sure not to overload that area so the flap closes neatly. I would like to see a dedicated pocket for pens. The quiet flap velcro works just as described (and I learned the velcro on Tenba memory card wallets work the same quiet way). The tabs to secure the flap use a Fidlock magnet system which take a few minutes to get used to, but once you do, they magically snap into a secure configuration. They allow you to secure the flap essentially without looking. I regularly use the carrying handle on top. I have yet to use the pass-through opening on the flap. The main strap is excellent: the padding is soft, yet grippy. The fully-loaded bag stays wonderfully put on my shoulder. My speed light-styled flash rides in a mesh end pocket. An accessory lens case occasionally rides on the other end when I need a fourth lens.



I’ve worked with the bag for two months now. I was anxious to order such a bag without seeing it in person, not being able to gauge the exact size and feel of the materials. But when I pulled the new bag from its packaging, I uttered the word “wow.” If you work in a corporate or business environment, and you need to work quickly, this bag needs to be high on your list.

[2.95 lb] I really love a good camera bag, and this one has been just what I needed. I am primarily a video-shooter, and I wanted to find a cross-shoulder, messenger style bag that would allow me to set my video rig down flat in the bottom (the rig consists of a Nikon Z9 + lens + top handle + monitor and mount). That's a lot to ask of any bag; and the truth is that my rig does not quite fit fully-assembled into the bag, but it's close (I have to remove the monitor and lay it in next to the camera to keep it from bulging the lid flap). I am impressed and happy with the extent to which I can lay my rig down into the bag to have it protected between locations, and there is still room for an additional lens or two next to the camera. This bag is well-designed, weather protected, and comfortable to wear for a full-day shoot. I am extremely happy with it.
