Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this compatible with 75mm bowl tripods. If not, which tripods is it compatible with?

A: Yes, the Leofoto BV-20K Fluid Tripod Head can be used on 75mm bowl tripods when adding a 75mm ball head, like the Benro 75HB 75mm Half Ball Adapter. See the link below: https://bhpho.to/3XMxynL

Q: 2. What is the operating temperature?

A: There is no listed specific temperature of operation for the Leofoto BV-20K Fluid Tripod Head. It is well known that in close to freezing temperatures, the fluid can get viscous and make it difficult to have quicker motions in these conditions.

Q: 3. Is this compatible with Fujifilm X-S20 Camera ?

A: This Leofoto Universal Titanium L plate is too big for Fujifilm X-S20 Camera. Leofoto's other L plates are also too big for this camera.

Q: 4. Is the balance range of this head 0-5kg or 5-10kg?

A: The Leofoto BV-30M Fluid Tripod Head has a Balance Load: 0-5kg (0 - 11lb).

Q: 5. Hello. Will it fit Canon 1Dx III, especially the connection ports on the left?

A: Leofoto Universal Titanium L Plate is not a very tall bracket. It is made for smaller cameras, therefore it may block the ports on the left of the camera. For the Canon 1dx iii you may want a taller bracket.

Q: 6. Does anyone know the load capacity for these?

A: ANDYCINE does not list a load capacity for the ANDYCINE Quick Release Camera Plate Tripod Adapter with 1/4"-20 Screw. The adapter is designed to be used with DSLR and Mirrorless cameras as well as camera gimbals, so remaining around that weight range would be recommended.

Q: 7. What is the operating temperature of the BV-20?

A: The operating temperature range of this Leofoto BV-20 Fluid Tripod Head is -20°C to 40°C.

Q: 8. how long of a 3/8" stud can this accept? ie what is threaded depth or product thickness excluding clampjaws/safetyscrew cutouts?

A: The Leofoto LHC-60 60mm Screw-Knob Clamp Arca-Type Receiver will accept a standard camera 3/8"-16 threaded screw, which typically measure about 12-14mm.

Q: 9. What's the difference between the BV-20k and the BV-20?

A: The main difference between the two heads is the way the ARCA Swiss plate is removed from the the head. The Leofoto BV-20 has a Lever-Release Clamp, and the Leofoto BV-20K has a Knob Clamp design that you twist to release the ARCA QR Plate. [Yes] Light, small, robust, very well built Arca-Type Mini Head. Smooth, fluid and lock perfectly. Worth the price.

[Yes] For its size I am very happy with this purchase. Balances my 400 2.8 and R5 gripped very well and everything smaller. I’m sure it would have no trouble with a 600 f4 either. Much smaller and lighter than my previous head the MVH502AH

[8 oz / 227 g] Tested this all morning as a new product and will be doing a video review of this one soon. Quick thoughts, supports and counterbalances 15lbs easily. Good ergonomics. Nice drag controls, easy to use. Lighter than most supporting this weight. Overall Winner!
Cons: a hair of slack when changing the drag, wish there were 1-2 more counterbalance setting (there is frictionless and 3 steps on top of that, 4-5 would have been perfect)

[0.59 lb] I love these. I've been using these for over a year now and have not had any issues with it. I bought 12 of these and put one on everything I can possibly mount my camera to. Tripods/Monopods, gimbal, camera harness...it makes my workflow so much smoother! It's also kind of like a riser plate which I need for my smallest camera. I use my cameras 3-4 times a week so I do have to re-tighten the screw maybe once a month. But I think that's kind of expected for something this small underneath a heavy camera.

[0.59 lb] I shoot real estate photography and bought this to pair with the Manfrotto 475B Pro tripod legs. I just upgraded from the Manfrotto 055, and I already know the 475B + Leofoto tripod arm and I are going to be fast friends.

I bought the Leofoto tripod arm for the rare occasion that an agent wants a vertical shot. The 475B's center column doesn't tilt to 90 degrees, and I decided that what the 475B offered in comparison to the 055 was significant enough that I shopped for a go between. So far, the Leofoto tripod arm delivers as advertised. It's just as beefy and sleek in person as pictured - yet lightweight - and in my line of work, appearance of equipment = confidence in skills when they haven't seen my photos yet.

Though I've only played with the new setup so far, I already know it's going to be fast and simple to change out when a client wants a vertical shot.

Not only does it look super sleek and feels great, it's exactly what I needed to pair with my new tripod. I'm done with the 90degree tilt center column! I bought this new setup because the center column on the 055 was getting wobbly and was such a pain to level the camera whenever I raised it to shoot kitchens and exteriors. (Shooting with a Canon 5D Mark IV.)

Great product. Highly recommend!!

If anything changes after I've used it a bit, I'll update my review.

[0.59 lb] I will use this for an upcoming trip and I cannot bring my iFootage tripod.
So far I love how small and light it is, and still holds my camera solidly.
