A: This is the XSW series which operates on the 2.4GHz frequencies and is not compatible with the EW series, which are UHF Based systems. You have 2 options for a handheld for your existing system: 1) Get the SKM 100 Transmitter Item# SESKM100G4SA + Capsule Item# SEMMD835 (or if there is another capsule you prefer. 2) Get the SKP100 Plug on transmitter SESKP100G4A and use any Dynamic microphone of your choice. Sennheiser has some great mics but if you already have other mics in your arsenal, it will work perfectly with this plug on transmitter. NOTE: The frequency range on your existing system, and the items I recommended are a little different, but they are in the same range so you will have plenty freqancies to play with.

A: The Sennheiser HSP4 Headworn Microphone uses a locking 3.5mm input connection while the transmitters in the Rode Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System use a non-locking input connection. Compatibility between the two depends on the ability of the locking mechanism on the HSP4 to move far enough out of the way to make a solid connection to the Rode transmitters. We have not tested these two items to fully confirm their compatibility at this time.

[0.13 lb] Before purchasing this, I actually purchased a Sennheiser e965 condenser vocal, which is apparently their top-of-the-line handheld vocal mic. While it was certainly a very high quality mic which I am sure works great for many others, it just didn't fit my voice, even with some EQ experimentation. So, I sent it back and decided to try the e865. Yes! Incredible warmth and presence, able to cut through the band with room to spare, great intelligibility. Short story, I love this mic! 5

[0.13 lb] We got the Sennheiser XSW 1-835-A UHF Vocal Set with e835 Dynamic Microphone to replace an old, failing Shure wireless system. The Sennheiser was easy to set up, sounds great, and has been flawless with no drops of signal. Would definitely get this one again for our venue. Great value for a good performing and sounding mic. 5

[0.13 lb] Not just one of the best headset mics I've used, one of the best mics period. It isn't omni-directional so feedback is almost non-existent. I have had children's pastors use it as a mic for singing and speaking. This thing is one of the clearest mics I have heard, it can cut through a band like what I thought only handheld mics can do. I also gave this to a senior pastor who also liked to sing at the end of his messages and compliments on his speaking and the end of services came from everyone. If you want a powerful mic, and you are done playing around with the little guys, its time to get this microphone. The ONLY downside is that if you have a really small head (has happened to me with two tiny women) this headset probably wont fit you and will be pretty loose. I just used some mole skin to tape it down on them and we didn't have any problems after that. 5
