The 0.5" x 45 yd ProTapes Pro Spike Cloth Gaffers Tape 0.5" x 45 yd Grayfrom ProTapes Pro Spike Cloth Gaffers Tape 0.5" x 45 yd Grayis made of a matte cotton cloth backing that has a synthetic rubber-based adhesive, which has lasting strength and conforms to irregular surfaces. The 11 mil tape unwinds smoothly from the core for application and tears easily by hand. The gray color is highly visible and can be seen from afar in less than adequate lighting. Therefore, the tape can be applied to stage floors for positioning of actors, marking a direction in a stairwell, identifying equipment cases, or simply holding things together. In addition, the abrasion- and weather-resistant tape removes easily and leaves no residue on the surface.

Q: 6. I'm fairly new to matting photos. There are three matt sizes I use, 8x10,11x14, and 16x20. Will this tape securely hold the photos to the matt board?

A: We've matted 4x6 and 8x10 prints with this tape no problem. For our larger prints we used a linen tape for both hinging the mat and mounting the print, but I see no reason this tape wouldn't be able to hold a 16x20 print.Search YouTube for How to mat a print in an archival, conservation-safe manner for the hinging and mounting technique we used... but be sure to use gloves so you don't get oils on the print!

Q: 7. I have a TZe-335 tapre, will not print lack, only clear?

A: Sounds like you inserted the tape incorrectly, have a bad print head, or got a bad tape. Do other tapes work correctly in your machine?

[0.3 lb] I love using gaffer tape for all sorts of things, besides photographic sets. I let my wife use it for something she needed to tape up, that wouldn't leave any adhesive or marks when it was removed. Now my whole family uses it. It's incredibly handy! I know, it's my fault. [0.3 lb] I have never used gaffer tape before in my life until my recent purchase of this tape. Setting up for an interview, we had to block sunlight from coming through a sunroom and the only way we could do that since there were no doors was to hang a movers blanket. This blanket, in my opinion, was too heavy to even think that tape would hold this blanket up. BUT THIS STUFF!!! As if we taped paper to the door frame, this Gaffer tape held the heavy blanket up like it was nothing. And was removed without leaving residue or without peeling paint from the wall or frame. This is a must have and I will make sure this gaffer tape is always in my kit. 5

[0.3 lb] This tape is perfect for holding wires to the floor. Keep in mind it's quite a heavy roll if it is getting tossed into your backpack. 5
