Q: 3. Has anyone used this with a Dracast LED 1000 panel? Does it fit well?

A: It does fit ok. You have to get the straps over the light to hold and it does take a little positioning to get it to fit. I ended up making my own diffusion panel out of silent grid cloth cut to fit and attaching it with velcro. I use these for interviews a lot. Usually one panel through a 42 flex silk and the other with the Chimera armed out as a backlight.

A: All our units have US plugs. The unit is ready for multi voltage. but you'll need a plug adapter for UK.

A: No, but there is a third party battery pack that works with it.

Q: 10. I have 2 Elinchrom BX500 Ri Strobes will this work together with them? Can they use the same skyport?

A: Yes the ELC 500 TTL works with the same Skyport trigger as the BXRi 500 monolights, just without any TTL functions.

[Bare Ends] I have a lot of the various Elinchrom moonlights. This unit is very solid, feels like a brick, and it does finally fix the annoying problem with the mount being wobbly, as referenced by the first reviewer. I added this item to the other heads to eliminate the loose connection on stand: BH #KUKG013212 MFR #KG013212. My one disappointment is the modeling light, wish they had kept the setup from the ELCPro line. This unit's modeling light is dimmer and has a blue/green cast, really ugly. Puzzling why they changed a perfectly fine setup. Otherwise this version of the Elinchrom moonlights is solid, and a great value considering its TTL and HSS capabilities, which I haven't used yet. 5

[1x RJ45 Male] I bought 4 of this already for Product Photography. They are in so many ways better than the ELC PRO HD500... Nice Things: - Build Quality superior to the ProHd - Faster Flash Durationa starting at 3.3 power settings. (Action mode) - Cool to the touch LED modeling lamp. - Nicer tripod mount on the elinchrom system. - Modern User interface. The only thing that its less apealing is the slowe flash duration at full power, specially on standar mode. its 1/300s. Best under 1000usd monolight ever... 5

[1x RJ45 Male] I have been using Elinchrom lighting for many years. I needed 2 more strobes and decided to get these. I will not bore you with all the technical stuff but these will get any job done with superb results. These strobes are pricey but hey are Simply the best as far as I am concern. You will not regret purchasing these strobes ! 5

[Bare Ends] I have 5 OlD... like 19 years old Elinchroms, and 2 went down in the last month. I attempted to replace the fuses, modeled lights, and flash tubes. Contemplated sending them off to repair. After this exhausting decision I just decided maybe I need to just start replacing these... and WOW!! Power house, quiet polished light. Highly recommend. 5
