The Logitech Spotlight Presentation Remote, in gold, is a compact, minimalist, and sleek presentation tool with an intuitive slide navigation interface. Spotlight pairs with a companion Logitech Presentation App to provide a highly intelligent on-stage presentation workflow.

Spotlight features three buttons that let you highlight and magnify on-screen details, navigate forward and backward between slides, and control custom functions, such as gesture-controlled scrolling. Spotlight works with Mac and Windows platforms and is compatible with virtually all popular presentation applications, including PowerPoint, Keynote, PDF, Google Slide, and Prezi.

Spotlight literally places a small spotlight over whatever detail you point to in your presentation. You can move the spotlight around, and you can magnify a detail by enlarging the spotlight, which automatically shows a zoomed-in version of the detail. Pressing and holding the top button allows you to choose between a spotlight, magnifier, or mouse pointer.

The spotlight size is easily adjustable so you can highlight small details or entire subjects. At the smallest size, the spotlight resembles a standard dot pointer commonly used in presentations. Furthermore, if there's a video or link in your presentation, you can select the mouse pointer and play and pause the video as well as open the link using the remote, instead having to interrupt your momentum and use a mouse.

The included app allows you to manage your presentations with time milestones and vibration alerts as you move through the slides on the screen. This helps you stay in command of the duration of the presentation so you reach the final slide precisely when you want to.

Spotlight connects instantly via a USB receiver or over Bluetooth and provides up to a 100' operating range (depending on environmental conditions). It's powered by a built-in battery, which provides three hours of operating time after just one minute of charging and up to 3 months of average usage on a full charge. A battery indicator is available to notify you when it's time to recharge.

A: The Tilta Battery Plate for DJI Remote Monitor (Gold Mount) does use the DJI Remote Monitor's NP-F battery plate for power pass through, and partially for mounting, but the issue when attempting to use it with other products with NP-F power ports would be the mounting part, as this plate is also designed to line up with the DJI High Bright Remote monitor's cage, where it would be screwed into place using a 1/4"-20 screw. If you were to use this plate with other devices it would mount into the NP-F battery receiver, but it wouldn't have the 1/4"-20 connection to help support the weight of the heavier batteries, and could cause damage to the device's NP-F receiver. So it isn't really advisable to use the Tilta Battery Plate for DJI Remote Monitor (Gold Mount) with other devices.

[0.4 lb] PPT presentation with the traditional laser pointer of either red or green color has become a blah up until I bought and used the Spotlight just recently. I was able to bring my topic points across as the PPT screen honed-in as a magnifying glass. It brought life into narratives of the PPT presentation. I also totally witnessed a sustained and captivated learning audience. I am very glad that I purchased two (2); one for my work as an educator and the other for a similar stint as an instructor of Basic life Support. 5

[0.4 lb] I returned my Aputure spotlight mounts to buy Godox instead and it was SUCH a good decision. I don’t know why Aputure’s iris is so garbage considering they’ve had it on sale for YEARS.. but my Aputure iris was broken and completely unusable right out of the box. If you’re trying to decide between Godox and Aputure, please do yourself a favor and get this. You’ll save yourself a lot of time and frustration. 5

[0.4 lb] I originally purchased these lights with the intention of having a more compact 3-point setup instead of lugging a set of LS600Cs around. For the most part, it has worked out well and the quality and reliability has been proven for me on over ten several hours long shoots. Pros: Easy to setup and configure Feature-rich, especially considering the price point Workhorse grade build quality Color accuracy is solid Has DMX (though you need an RJ45-to-XLR5 adapter) Works with wireless CRMX receiver and has a USB port that can power them(!) Cons: No v-mount or proprietary battery offered by Godox; have to go third party IMO, output is better than the SZ150R and the Amaran 300c, but still leaves a little to be desired The zoom feature isn't really all that effective and you'll still need to keep grids on hand The dimming setup is still fairly bright When COB is fully retracted, there is a minor hotspot All in all, a good light that could be great if Godox made a battery kit and adjusted some things with future firmware updates. 5
