The white Definitive Technology AW6500 Outdoor Speaker White Singleis a mountable 200W-peak, all-weather outdoor speaker designed to deliver audio with enhanced bass in nearly any outdoor setting. The enclosure is engineered to withstand the rigors of outdoor mounting. The white finish is paintable, making it easier to blend the AW6500 into nearly any décor. The racetrack-shaped planar pressure-coupled bass radiator is designed to deliver rich, warm audio. Its total bass radiating area helps enhance bass presence in every measure. The active mid-woofer, in conjunction with the bass radiator, helps further augment the bass output while maintaining a weather-tight seal for enhanced placement flexibility, reliability, and performance.

A: Yes you can use a headphone output as a source. A headphone output is not the same as the speaker output on an amplifier. The speaker output on an amplifier would be used with a passive speaker or passive monitor, not an active monitor like the Genelec G One.

[10.9 lb] These outdoor speakers sound very nice on our back patio. We’re fortunate to have a covered portico where we were able to mount them vertically with opposing side walls to reflect passive radiator bass sound equally. We have an older Yamaha Aventage A/V receiver which provides 150 watts per channel to our zone 2 Def Techs, controlled wirelessly through the Yamaha controller app. The speakers play background music sweetly at low volume, and really pump out nice, full range sound when cranked up. Bass is quite good at party volume. Have to be very careful not to get kicked out of the neighborhood! Very happy with our purchase. 5

[200 W Peak ] This is my second pair after I used the same ones for over 10 years in a hostile environment. I use them in the balcony of my beach house in front of the water. This speakers have the best in class bass because of its passive radiator woofer. I'm extremely happy with this product. Highly recommend. 5

[92 dB] I mounted these in the ceiling facing down in an outdoor cabana that's 36' x 24'. The speakers are powered by a Denon Heos amp and they crank. The sound is amazing...you will not be disappointed! 5

[10.9 lb] Best outdoor speakers I have ever had! Deep, full bass and crisp highs. I'm amazed at the sound I can get outdoors with 2 simple speakers. Recently, a party got a bit out of hand. Unfortunately, both speakers were blown up. Totally my fault. Called customer service to find out if it was possible to purchase replacement parts. Without hesitation they shipped me the replacement parts at no cost. Took me 30 minutes to install and I was up and running again with great sound!!!! 5
