[Aluminum] This tripod is super dope. Not small/lightweight enough for my tastes when operating out of a backpack, so I use it for local shoots. Love the fluid head so much I want to marry it.

[2] We bought this tripod rig completely on the suggestion of the B&H staff, and we could not be more pleased with it. The whole unit is solid as a rock, glides smoothly on the wheels, and adjusts very easily. Assembly was a snap, and mounting camera rigs is simple and solid.

We bought the unit based on its ability to hold heavy weight, and we use it to hold a full camera & teleprompter rig. The whole assembly weighs in at 30+ pounds, and it rides easily on this tripod - and feels completely secure.
The two handles are fully adjustable, and they are nice and long. Plenty of control.

The rig is supposed to be used as shown... on the wheel base. So they did not include regular feet for the tripod to be used off the wheel platform. This would have been a nice extra, as the tripod could then have been used outside the studio, but even without this, the whole package is a definite A+.� And in this price range, it is a complete home run.

[2] We have the Compass 20 but needed something smaller to travel with. This is lighter and shorter, but there doesn't seen to be much if any compromise on quality, strength, and stability. The max payload is a little lighter and there are a few less settings on the head. The legs are very strong.

[2] This tripod is a beast. Sturdy metal, rock solid build, and holds my 20lb rig just fine. The head is amazing and smooth. The locking knobs for the head only need to be turned about a quarter of a turn to lock the plate or the head itself. I love this feature. The spreader is very easy to remove. I have noticed that the spring loaded tether for securing the legs together during transport has popped out once but I was able to feed the spring and the tether back into its port and it works still. I highly recommend this tripod. Easy to use, fluid head is super smooth, and built like a tank.

[2] I would probably buy another one of these but it's a bit heavier than I like. Very strong and sturdy.

[2] I bought this as a travel tripod for a documentary shoot in Europe last spring. The legs collapse down small enough to fit into my checked luggage and I am able to easily fit the Air head in my carry on camera case. All-in-all, it is a fairly lightweight, efficient and sturdy solution for creating buttery smooth pans and tilts, adjustable to a broad range of different heights to cover nearly any situation.Simply stated, the Miller Air makes shooting fun again and has easily become the preferred tripod in my collection. The quick setup time, its rock solid build quality, and the agility it provides to move around and grab a variety of shots in a timely manner makes this my go-to tripod for nearly every assignment.If you've ever used a Miller head, you'll feel right at home with the Air and the professional quality and precision it delivers. I use it regularly with my FS100, Sony SLTs and now my A7Rm2 rig and I couldn't be more pleased with the results!

[Aluminum] There is no better investment than a great set of sticks. After a couple of years going for cheaper alternatives and jealously watching my work mates on their Miller tripods I bit the bullet. What great value for the sticks alone the head was surprisingly smooth for such a small unit will definitelybuy a compas head in future but for now the AIR fluid head is a nice bonus to a graet set of sticks.

[2] I use to have the Sachtler eng cf hd sticks that these directly compete with. These are legit.

Only con, which isn't actually a con to me, is the mid spreader does not have 3 level settings like Sachtler. This doesn't bother me, as I never liked to use that on the Sachtler.
