Q: 1. Does this include a bag or case with purchase?

A: No this does not. For a tripod by Miller, I would want to have a case of equal quality. HPRC 6400TRIB Wheeled Hard Case for Tripods with Soft Interiors Kit (Black) B&H # HP6400WTRIB.

Q: 2. Do you sell the clamp and screw for this handle separately? It is for an ArrowX head.

Q: 3. Is the Miller 1580 tripod legs compatible with the Manfrotto 526 head?

A: The Manfrotto 526 has a 100mm ball base and the Miller 1580 Sprinter II has a 100mm bowl. They will match perfectly.

Q: 6. How heavy duty is the zipper? Is it comparable to Tenba or Lightware? YKK-10? Lastly, how thick and dense is the padding?

A: While Miller Tripods state they have not directly compared the Miller Softcase for 2-Stage Toggle 2 Tripod Systems to the Tenba case, the case design and padding appear to be similar. The differences may come down to the size and compartment for storage. They do not indicate if the case uses a YKK zipper, but the zipper should be heavy duty.

Q: 7. Are there any pockets to store accessories?

A: The Miller Softcase for 2-Stage Toggle 2 Tripod Systems (Black) has an external pocket for accessories and a card holder.

Q: 8. How do you adjust the height of the pedestal?

Q: 9. Where can I find replacement rubber feet for this tripod?

A: Unfortunately, we do not currently carry rubber feet for this particular model. We would recommend posing your inquiry directly to the manufacturer: https://bit.ly/35gWVo8

Q: 10. Are there other accessory mounting options besides using the Miller Air Accessory Mounting Block on the Miller Air Carbon Fiber Tripod?

A: At this time the the Miller Air Accessory Mounting Block is the only known accessory that can be attached. The size of the attachment screw is not known; probably it is a metric size. You can consider articulating arms with a clamp. Here is one suggestion: GyroVu Adjustable Clamp with Heavy Duty 11 Articulated Arm Monitor Mount B&H # GYGVCM11H Note: it is special order.

[12.68 lb] The DS-10 is light, the head action very smooth, the tripod is quick to set up and tear down. Let the legs out gently, though. One of the coolest things about the DS-10 is how low it goes: there's just enough clearance so the leveling handle isn't on the ground. In that configuration, it looks like a three-legged spider. So you can easily get extremely low shots on a fluid head, and the rubber feet let you stick it in the middle of a long, expensive board room table without leaving a mark. Lack of a spreader makes them hard to sandbag, which is where lightness can cause trouble. We've rented DS-20's as well. Bigger, heavier, not quite as flexible but able to handle larger loads.

[12.68 lb] I use this for documentary filmmaking. The head is completely smooth and well built. The legs are very stable and easy to use.

[Zipper] I've been using Miller solo legs with a older compass head for years. This is a great upgrade. I love the addition of hash marks and numbers on the legs. Much easier to see that the legs are even, or to recreate the height at a later date. I love the added counterbalance options of the CX8 head. This thing is solid and well build and made for heavy use.

[9.7 lb / 4.4 kg] Great tripod. Light. Secure lock. Could not ask for better. Like it better than Sachlers since I hate the spreader. Used big Manfrotto's in the past. No comparison. Own a Gitzo as well, which is close to Miller but still like Miller. Will buy Miller again if I need another one.

[12.68 lb] There are many reviews on this tripod, but bottom line: it is excellent! It's reasonably priced and can accommodate a pretty heavy rig. I'm impressed. I love the next to nothing weight as well!
