[14.4 VDC] Outstanding product, very simple set up, works in minutes.

[14.4 VDC] I've had a set of ELB500's for some time, but my main studio strobes were a different brand so I decided to go all Elinchrom. These lights are built like tanks, are powerful, and provide a consistent, high quality output. And the recycle time is unbelievably fast. I also purchased the Skyport Bridge, and run the Elinchrom studio software on my computer (and I shoot tethered) so now I can control/modify the power for the lights all from my computer (or phone) easily. And they have plenty of power. Highly recommended!

[1.555 lb] I have been waiting for the Sony TTL & HSS firmwares update for months !!!
After upgrading my EL-Skyport , i jump and bought the LLB 500 Dual.
I did not use it in dual mode yet , most of my testing and work was done in mono light ..
Wow , the TTL and HSS works seamlessly and get some pretty good result in normal lighting situation . When strong back light is present , I had to do some fine tuning.
The TTL set you right , almost all times. Then I switched to manual.
I did a family portrait outdoor session . It save me a lot of time . My light meter staid in my pocket.
Did about 250 shots , the battery was still very strong at the end.
The system is light , flash head is very light .. Recycle time is great ..
This is a great addition to my Elinchrom quadra

[3 Hours] I bought 4 of this already for Product Photography.
They are in so many ways better than the ELC PRO HD500...

Nice Things:
- Build Quality superior to the ProHd
- Faster Flash Durationa starting at 3.3 power settings. (Action mode)
- Cool to the touch LED modeling lamp.
- Nicer tripod mount on the elinchrom system.
- Modern User interface.

The only thing that its less apealing is the slowe flash duration at full power, specially on standar mode.

[14.4 VDC] I have been using Elinchrom lighting for many years. I needed 2 more strobes and decided to get these. I will not bore you with all the technical stuff but these will get any job done with superb results. These strobes are pricey but hey are Simply the best as far as I am concern. You will not regret purchasing these strobes !

[1.555 lb] 2nd kit - couldn’t pass the the great deal since I already had the dual pack. This gives me the freedom to place lights where I want at any distance and set them remotely. B&H service was quick but delivery was to be 3 business days - took 5.

[14.4 VDC] This light give off beautiful, soft daylight. It is very powerful but can be turned down low. I find it best pointed at the ceiling.

[1.555 lb] I've been using five Phottix Mitros + with my Nikon DSLRs to light my weddings. In mid-day sun, I would group three of them together in a Wescott Softbox to get enough light to overpower the sun, but I wanted something lighter and easier to manage. I rented the Profoto B1s and found them really heavy and worried about a guest knocking one over during the reception (plus, the price was a bit out of budget and left my Phottix system obsolete). After lots of research, I bought the dual To-Go system with the Phottix Odin II, and it is absolutely perfect. I also got the Quadra adapter and then the Wescott Rapid softbox with the Elinchrom head. So far I've only used one head as my key light and then the flashes for fill/back/hair lights. I think I might keep it this way most of the time, so I always have a backup ready in case something happens to the cable or bulb.

[3 Hours] Upgraded from Alienbee B400 to get a faster flash duration. These are also more powerful and just feel more well constructed all around.
