Q: 1. I have an idea for using this as permanently mounted legs underneath an electronic effects case that I want elevated when I perform but compact for transporting. Does anyone know if when the legs are folded flat, it is a level surface? (I'm also looking at the Ultimate Support JS-MPS1)

A: The legs will fold flat, for easy transportation. The adjustable height of the legs allow for the stand to be made level on most surfaces.

Q: 2. does anyone know how many boom mic stands can fit within this case?

A: Hi, Marlene. We have two On-Stage stand cases. We have three floor mike stands that we use in our productions. Three stands were just a bit heavy for the original On-Stage case that we purchased, so we ended up buying a second case so that we could have two stands in one case an the third stand and a extension mike boom in the other case.We never had a problem with the case when it held the three stands, but i was afraid that it was just too much weight or the handles, so we obtained an additional case, since the first case worked for us so well.I hope that this answer helps you.Enjoy your new On-Stage case. Thanks,Nick ZaklanovichB&H customer.

Q: 3. What is the thread size at the base? I have four bases with this thread size, but most shafts are M20. This is larger than M20.

A: The manufacturer has not specified the size of the On-Stage DS7200B base threads.

Q: 4. will this work for samson c01u usb condenser microphone?

A: I have a Behringer C-1 that looks to be about the same size and I have no problems with it.

Q: 5. It looks like this will not fit on the tubing for an Atlas mic stand? Will it fit on the upper tube extension for an OnStage mic stand?

A: i have severals mic stands and it fits all, uper and lower parts. i use it mainly to acomodate a small focusrite interface on stage. greetings!

Q: 6. Will this work for a Rode video mic pro? I want to have it above the person standing, just out of the video shot. What adaptor will I need to attach the Rode?

A: This microphone's camera shoe mount also has a 3/8 thread at the bottom to allow mounting on tripods and boom-poles. Use this adapter: WindTech M-1 5/8 -27 Female to 3/8 -16 Male Thread Adapter for Microphone Mounts and Stands B&H # WIM1A

Q: 7. Does it come with the ball joint attachment shown in the pictures? To mount an ipad?

A: This contains the tray and mounting bracket only. The ball joint is not included.

Q: 8. I am looking for a boom mic stand that will fit a Rode NTG-1 condenser shotgun microphone. I plan to use this mic to do sit-down interviews for a documentary film. Will this product fit a Rode NTG-1 condenser shotgun microphone? If not can you suggest ones that will?

A: The On-Stage MS9701TB+ features a 5/8 threading that is compatible with most standard mic clips ( not included ). The Rode NTG-1 does ship with a stand clip that is compatible with this stand.

Q: 9. Is this stand compatible with the Scarlett CM25 MkIII Microphone stand attachment?

A: Yes it is.

Q: 10. Does B&H sell replacement threaded nobs for this - specifically the ones that lock the boom extension segments?

A: At this time, B&H does not sell those specific replacement knobs. While you could attempt to reach out to the manufacturer about replacements, it may be easier to look for a replacement stand. Here's a suggestion, BH #AUMS5230T.

[2.25 lb] I bought this product to use on stage for our annual Camp-Meeting. The X shaped stands were too unstable. I use this for my Hammond XK-1c and, since I always sit to play, the only adjustment needed was the length and 1 leg leveler. Very Simple set-up, and very solid. A friend of mine was so impressed that he is going to order one also.

[2 lb / 0.9 kg] I was surprised at how sturdy this thing is. I was expecting it to be just able to hold my little mic, but it is quite capable. I ended up getting some gaffer clamps and attaching my LED lights to this stand.

Its a little heavy (all steel), so I wouldn't plan to carry it around. More for studio use.

[5/8"-27] Sturdy and perfect fit for my YPG-235 keyboard. No wobbling on carpet and so much better than X stands, for my stationary situation, might not like it if I had to transport and set it up at a gig, was a little tricky to set the legs with the knobs due to indention rather than holes in the legs, but I'm an elderly lady, might not be so tricky for a man. I am very happy overall and it was packaged very well and arrived on time. Would definitely purchase again.

[2.25 lb] Though I just got this one, it's because I already have 4 others, which I've had for a few years now, so they've seen a number of gigs.

As long as you take care of them, put them in a case when you're transporting them, and don't put all you've got into tightening the adjustments, it will last.

[2 lb / 0.9 kg] Works like it supposed to. I have no complaints. I use weights when it's top heavy to keep it from falling but that's what they do sometimes when you add too much weight. Would recommend.
